Xgen Xgenpro 3x Digital Night Vision Viewer

Great device for the price!
This thing works incredibly well. I had an old Russian made Gen1+ scope that finally gave up the ghosts on me; this thing works much better. Has three levels of IR illumination--works great on the lowest setting. Uses standard AA batteries and is well built.

Display is backlit LCD and clear enough; more like looking through a camcorder viewfinder than the traditional night vision scope with intensifier tube. More durable and won't be damaged by daylight.

All in all, for the price it's a great buy. A+
Great low budget night vision
Good bang for the buck. Brings in objects a bit past 100 yards. Moon or artificial lights in the area would increase it somewhat. Excellent at 50 yards. It has three settings for intensity and IR and either a 3x or 6x magnification. At full power, the video slows down noticeably (8 fps is slow), but other two frame rates are fine (12 and 25). I haven't given it a full run to see how long batteries will last, but the only thing I would like would for it to be water proof. Great deal in all.
Ok for limited use
I purchased this knowing that its the least expensive way to try night vision. I wanted to use it with my airgun also for night time rat control. This didn't work out as it could not focus into the scope like some sony camera setups that are on Youtube. The quality was ok for large objects but I had a hard time seeing a clear enough view of cat size or smaller at 20yards away. The brightness of the picture should be dimmable or red as you totaly loose all night vision in the eye you use to view thru scope. I returned mine and will try something else. This would work well for a entry level personal security device to scan a property for intruders out to 100 yards though.

Xgen 2x Digital Night Vision Viewer

My first impressions...
Ok. So i intended to use this for hunting. I hunt wild boars in the evenings. Therefore, NV is a very important for me.
My first impressions can be summoned in pros and cons.
PROS: small, light weight
CONS: eats batteries, makes loud clicks when you turn it on (and this is not just one click, because in order to see in pitch dark, you have to click like 5 times to get to the highest IR illumination. Picture is little weird to be.While other NV I owned had little greenish, but real time picture, this one has almost black and white picture, that seems like digital, because there is a slight delay.

I compared this item to my yukon NV and I have to say that yukon has won. Even though it is bulkier, yukon has a better picture, and its definitely better on the batteries. Plus, in the dusk conditions, yukon can work without IR, while XGEN, due to a small lens cannot work without IR at all.

In summary, if you are looking something to play with, I guess its...
Works Well For My Needs - Recommended!
This Night Owl Optics "XGEN 2X Digital Night Vision Monocular" is a good value for a very functional, low-end night vision monocular. The monocular is very small and lightweight, making it perfect for camping or adding to a "Bug Out Bag". The optical quality is better than expected and the IR emitter does a nice job lighting up a dark room. The unit has two lenses, each with a focus that must be set in conjunction to optimize the picture clarity. The unit also has a "mode" setting that adjusts the IR emitter power and frame-rate to get the best performance for the operating environment. The included "pleather" carrying case is functional, but nothing special. I very much like that it takes standard three standard AA batteries (not included), which are always easy to get.

This is not a high-end unit, but it is not priced like one either.

Recommended!

CFH
Good for the price
I just received my Night Owl and considering the low price, I am pretty happy with it. Once you get it adjusted, the picture is really clear. Like most all monocles the field of view is pretty narrow. The distance is pretty good. It is small and light. Over all, 4 out of 5 stars. Don't expect military quality, but if you are looking for a small, inexpensive, digital NV, this is a good pick.

SentrySafe X031 Security Safe, 0.3 Cubic Feet, Black

BEST OUT THERE FOR THIS PRICE
I looked at TONS of safes and TONS of reviews. This is the most secure and also good looking.

Pros (VS OTHERS)
-Lipped front panel (makes it hard to pry open)
-Key is very complicated and makes it hard to pick
-No Electronics (Not going to stop working on you and cant "trick the safe for unauthorized open"
-Plenty of room (I have a handgun, flashlight, 500 rnds of .22 and 200rds of 9mm and 50 rds of shotgun ammo in it)
-2 Keys
-able to screw into wall and floor from the inside

Cons:
- None so far
Wouldn't open after using it maybe a dozen times
I bought one of these safes about six months ago and have probably opened it a dozen times since then. For a two month period I didn't need to get into it. When I tried to open it after that I inserted the key and it engaged the bolt but would not open the safe. I had to get it drilled to get it open. Production quality appears low as the bolt and key mechanism were always a bit loose. I had left the safe completely undisturbed in a closet during the time it somehow degraded into non-functional. Stay away from this POS if you want to actually be able to get into the stuff you put inside of it!
As advertised.
Works fine. Wouldn't stop a determined thief, but will keep things away from the kids.

IWB Holster Springfield XDS.45, Black Right-Handed No Laser

Very nice
This is a very nice iwb holster for the new xds .45. Fits nice and secure, easy to reholster with one hand, and can be carried comfortably all day. Highly recommended!
Ok Fit
The XDS fits just ok. Not great but not bad. The outside testures seems a bit abrasive since the leather is on inside and the outside has a somekind of coating on it.
Inner pants Xds .45 leathet holster
Very pleased with the shipping. Arrived ahead of scheduled date. Very pleased with the quality and comfort fit in front inner pants as well as side carry. Conceals Gun well and holds gun up high enough to accomidate sitting without discomfort. Gun fits snug in holster and easy to draw from. Feels more comfortable the more I wear it. Currently looking into other holsters for my larger guns for ccw. Confident in the construction and will buy more quality products from talon products. Thank you for your attention to detail and quality. Most of all made in the USA by fellow americans who know the importance of a good quality product.

Zero Tolerance ZT0301ST Ranger Green Folder Knife with SpeedSafe and Partial Serration

Awesome knife
The heft and grip of this knife is awesome. The blade came super sharp out of the box. This is definitely one of my best knives if not THE best. The best part of all...MADE IN USA.
ZERO TOLERANCE SPRING ASSISTED SLING BLADE FOLDER RANGER MODEL
The Zero Tolerance spring assisted 'RANGER' is really the only choice for a high-end 'flip folder' or assisted (one hand) sling blade knife. I have over 30 years experience in paramilitary knife applications and can recommend this knife with no reservations. Be sure to get the Torx T-6 head Kershaw 'T-Tool' to relocate the retaining (belt) clip for 'drop point' concealed carry (with a spiral bungie 'Ranger Dummy Chord' leash) - and the Kershaw 'Diamond Stick' packable sharpening tool. The partially serrated blade is a must for dealing with cardboard, packing materials, etc., such as military containers. You can blacken the G- 10 scales with a Sharpie if need be or select the 'Combat Folder' option in black. But the green scales are worth a second thought as you may need to hide the knife in garden horticulture for tactical reasons. This is only one of two knives both Zero Tolerance, that feature the hex-head 'adjustable spring' assist; (the smaller 0350 model uses a Torx-style pivot)...
Awesome
One word ... Awesome.....that is how I would describe the ZT0301ST.
This is a partially serrated blade. I love it so much I have ordered another ZT wihtout the partially serrated blade.

I placed my order shortly before christmas and was really suprised to received it on christmas eve all the way out here in Malaysia. When I opened the package and held it in my hand there is no other better feel, the knife fits like a glove in any hand with a really solid feel to it. I've been looking for a repalcement knife for a while and went to many shops and nothing felt or looked good. The ZT is nice and streamline which makes it conceal so well.

As I siad I love it so much I ordered the ZT0301. (unserrated)

Boyt Harness Signature Series Scoped Rifle Case with Pocket (Khaki, 46-Inch)

Not as they used to be!!
I have a Boyt case I bought years ago (10?) the material, leather are a lower grade on this new one. The most disappointing feature is the zipper on this new case. It is almost impossible to zip from one end. The zipper works ok from the opposite end but is a lower quality zipper than on my older case. If it wasent such a pain I would send it back and look/see at a local shop and not buy on Amazon unseen.
Boyt Case
Appears very well made, but the Zipper is VERY difficult to close, would expect a better quality Zipper given its Premium Price . . .
Disappointed
If I had known this was made in China,I never would have even looked at it.I thought it was american made. Cheap Zipper that doesn't want to zip.Its China JUNK,with american price.I will not buy from this co. again.

Bianchi 111 Cyclone Holster Fits Ruger Redhawk 44 7 1/2In (Right Hand)

didn't fit
I got the holster, and tried to fit my Ruger redhawk .44 mag in to it I almost could not get it back out. I soaked it in hot water and that loosened it a little, but not a lot. It looks nice but still is not right.
Almost a custom holster
This was purchased to fit my Dan Wesson 744 heavy barreled .44 because the Bianchi website lists the DW .44mag/7.5" as fitting the #111 holster.

It was way too tight. Although it states it fits Dan Wesson .44s I think that must mean the older, non-heavy weight barrels without the underlug.

After wetting down the insides with a few ounces of 50/50 isopropyl alcohol and water and wrapping the weapon in plastic wrap and a sock and holstering it for a few days it fits like it was hand made for it!

Very nicely made, like all my other Bianchi holsters.
great product...
It was very very nice and great looks just what I expected out of bianchis leather products and holsters.. Thanks

Conceal Mini- Right Handed, Black, Springfield XD, XDM, 9mm, .40, .45 - Shepherd Leather IWB Holster

excellent holster for those on a budget
I don't have a lot of extra money these days, so I try to save when and where I can. I currently have a Uncle Mike's IWB #15. It was cheap and better than nothing, but I never felt comfortable wearing it. I was going to drop $80 on a Crossbreed Supertuck, but came across this and gave it a shot(no pun intended).

Having never worn a crossbreed, I cannot compare them directly. However, I will say that I went from almost buying another gun to conceal carry, to being extremely happy to carry my Springfield XD40 compact (4" model) every where that I can. It's very comfortable walking, sitting at the office, riding in the car, and even through a 3 hour movie. It's made in the USA, and the owner of Shepard was friendly and easy to work with. I would go for it, no real complaints here. I have to tuck in my shirt for work, and it does a good job concealing. You can see the two black clips, and maybe some slight printing. With an untucked shirt there was almost no printing at...
very nice
this is an excellent conceal holster !!! only issue is with my spring field XDM compact .45 has a bullet in the chamber indicator on the top of the hand gun and the holster would catch the indicator and not let the gun slide all the way into the holster but in about 3 minutes with small file i removed the square edge on the that part of the holster and not the gun fits perfectly every time i re holster the gun you will be very happy with this holster it even has 3 adjustments positions on each clip to either raise of lower the holster position to so you can help control how deep the gun is in your waist band
Great holster. Great price.
I've owned this for about 2 months now and wear it on a normal basis. I would gladly purchase another if I ever purchase a new carry firearm.

Redfield Revolution 3-9x40mm Accu-Range

Excellent scope
I was shopping at Gander Mountain and they have nicely laid out all the scopes for shoppers to test and see their quality first hand. Immediately, I clearly saw the highest quality were the Leupold scopes. Then, I came across the Redfield Revolution Accu-Range, which was less expensive (half the price of Leupold) and the same quality lenses. I was very impressed, but without recognizing this brand I was still reluctant to buy it. Then the store clerk told me that Leupold actually produces the Redfield brand. It made sense, the quality was there to prove their similarities.

I bought the scope in the store (was same price as Amazon) and ordered the scope mounts on my Amazon mobile app (cheaper on Amazon). The scope is great; there's no blurring around the edges of the view, the cross is easy to see at any range or light condition, and the scope is forgiving on how close or far you hold your head from the view finder and doesn't turn black easily.
Nice Scope, Good Value
Accu-Range is great. Good value.

Public Service Announcement: Butler Creek Flip Open Cover Sizes are "13 Eye" and "27 OBJ (objective)" for the 3-9x40.
Redfield Revolution 3-9x40mm Accu-Range Riflescope
I chose the Redfield primarily because of good reviews and the fact it is made in Oregon. No more Chinese garbage for me - I want to help bring jobs back to the good old USA. I did debate between the Redfield and the Nikon, as Nikon has an excellent reputation and my old Nikon binoculars and digital camera are wonderful products. But Japan is not America, so my decision was made.

The Redfield quality is excellent, the lenses are clear, the eye relief is superb, and I really like the AccuRange reticle which will allow me to sight that particular gun (Savage Model 111) in with the ammunition I use at particular yardage ranges. (.30-06 with 165 grain boat tail bullets)

The only item to be aware of is that the 1-inch scope tube is a bit short so I had to get special Weaver rings with built-in extensions to allow the rings to fall in the correct positions on the scope tube. No problem, and the cost was the same as the regular rings, it just took an extra trip to the...

United Cutlery GH5027 Hibben Legacy Combat Fighter with Sheath

Hibben Legacy Bowie
This is a very fine and handsome knife, and a steal for the price. Without going into much detail, this is not one of Hibben's fantasy knives, but a real fighter through and through, and his Kenpo knife background really shows in this one. The grip is smooth but very ergonomic so there's no slip. Despite having a full tang, the balance makes it feel very light and nimble. It is beveled for a false-edge but the back comes unsharpened so subjects in places where the 2nd amendment of the constitution is infringed can purchase it. It can be quickly sharpened by a pro, however. The fit and finish is excellent. The black leather sheath is well done, but the exception, why I hold back one star, is the cut on the top of the sheath really doesn't match the knife in my case, making seating it and securing the snap a bit of a chore.
Another Great Hibben Blade
Received one of these as a gift with the box and sheath autographed by Gil & Wes Hibben. I liked the blade so much I wanted to carry it but didn't want to mess up the signed sheath, so I bought another Legacy from Amazon so I could use and carry the knife. Excellent razor-sharp blade; the handle, with its "trigger" or "sub-hilt" fore finger notch, fits my hand perfectly whether I choose to use the "trigger" or not. Also love the lanyard hole at the end of the handle, it is a weapon itself. Made a nice paracord lanyard for the knife, and carry it regularly.
Best knife I own
This is my first United Cutlery knife and I am very very happy with it. It was packaged with care!!! It came very quickly from the company. The knife is a very sturdy one. Buy it, and you will see what I am talking about. I use to be a Cold Steel fan until I bought a United Cutlery, now I switched.

Lyman Universal Case Trimmer with Carbide Cutter and 9 Pilot Multi-Pack

Couldn't Ask For More.
I purchased this trimmer to manually trim my cases to length. Lyman products have always been well made in the past, and this trimmer is no exception. The instructions that come with it are clear, and easy to follow. The universal chuckhead seems to work great once I got the hang of how it worked. I tried the regular cutter that comes mounted from the factory before changing to the carbide one packaged separately. I noticed an immediate improvement in the cut being performed, and this confirmed the wisdom of purchasing the carbide cutter version.

I don't understand a reviewer listing the fact that this manual trimmer is manual, as a "con". It's a MANUAL trimmer! Also, like many other things in reloading, a certain amount of skill, experience, and trial and error applies. Example: nobody sets their bullet seat depth without a bit of trial and error. As I became more experienced with using this unit, it was quite easy to set up the proper case trim length. This trimmer does...
They do the job every shell is the right length'
I have had one for years. My older children lost all of the carbide centers. It was cheaper to get the whole set thain the centers. I have had no problems with it, it sure saves buckled sholders on 30_30 when you crimp all of the necks are the same length.I forget how longe ago it was for the first one. They are well worth the money.
Good Case Trimmer - Recommended
This Lyman Universal Trimmer is easy to use and works well. The trimmer was included in the Lyman T-Mag Expert Kit Deluxe with 1000Xp Scale we recently bought when we decided to start reloading .223 cartridges. Here are my observations:

Pros -
+ Easy to Use; Once setup, just insert the shell and rotate until the case is the right length (but see "Cons", below)
+ Versatile; Chuckhead automatically adjusts to accommodate the shell and comes with 9 pilot heads (which store on the trimmer)
+ Well Made; this is a sturdy, mostly metal unit
+ Works Well; trims cases quickly and easily

Cons -
- Exact sizing is difficult using the coarse and fine dial adjustments, but is achievable with practice

Misc -
* While heavy enough to be used without being screwed down to a table, there are mounting holes at the four corners

Overall, this is a very functional...

Gerber 30-000528 DeFacto Fixed Blade Knife

Sheath Needs an Attachment Device
I received my Gerber 30-000528 DeFacto Fixed Blade Knife this week and overall I am very pleased with the design and quality of this blade. The double edge is nice and sharp out of the box as are the serrations on both sides. A black blade would make this more aesthetically appealing, but the sand color is okay and matches the handle and sheath as shown in the illustration. My only criticism is the lack of a device to attach it to a belt, boot, web gear, etc. There is a slotted appurtance on the back of the sheath running the length vs the width (i.e. slot openings towards top and bottom of sheath vs open to the left and right as with a normal belt sheath) which can be used to thread para cord or strap material thru. I elected to use contrasting black paracord, formed a loop to go round my neck and wear inverted as a neck-knife. Since it is light and fairly short, it is comfortable in that way and won't fall out of the sheath due to the sliding lock device that hold the knife pretty...
Very High Quality Blade
Made in the USA. Tough as the soldiers that designed it. Very light weight and scalpel sharp. Full tang handle with sharp end with lanyard hole. Use like a hammer/chisel or secondary weapon.
Gerber DeFacto First impressions
First off the knife and sheath do look just like the picture.
The knife is light but not too light feels just right in the hand,
The firm rubbery grip is nice.
Well anyone who has researched this knife has read about the sheath.
The sheath matches the knife well but wow as you have heard that bugger
takes a firm pull to come out of the sheath. I mean the kinda pull where your
raising your two hand to your chest and pulling, but lets stay focused this is
a great knife with great blade steel. Back to the sheath even though its a military type
knife couldn't they at least gave you an option to where it on a belt? geez

Bottom line 5star knife 4star sheath

Love the knife its bad azz

ATI Retractable Stock for GSG-522, Black

Functional Fun perfect for my Zombie gun
Perfect add on for my GSG 522. It is sturdy and functional and it fits perfectly. Made of the same materials as the 522. No its not as strudy as a battle rifle componet but the 522 isn't a battle rifle. The GSG 522 is fun to shoot and this just adds to the fun.
GSG Retractable Stock
Stock is constructed of plastic, is shorter than non-retracting stock which requires holding rifle in an awkward position, and does not lock properly in the fully extended position. Stock does make rifle look "cooler."
cool cool cool
all i can say is excellent. its good that there are honest people that still make great products at a low low fair price. same as a real hk but not $460. thanks ati

Accu-Shot PRM (Precision Rail Monopod) Standard (BT12) with Quick Knob Option

Definitely worth it
Looking at the price I didn't know if It would be worth it or not but it definitely was. I have an AR-10 with a magpul prs stock and a bipod on it. After putting this on you can just set it up and just turn the knob to get your scope aimed exactly where you want it. And if you don't want to use it you can flip it up and its out of the way. It was easy to put bullets through the same hole with this. Im thinking about getting another for one of my other guns.
Best on the market by far!
The quality of this can't be beat, the adjust-ability is just amazing, very quick and easy to use! I put this on a Magpul PRS stock and it's easily a combo that can't be beat.
what moa
I put this on my Magpul PRS AR-15 Sniper Stock and now I lay 5 shot groups in the size of a quarter at 100 yards fairly consistently. Would definitely recommend to someone who wanted to become more accurate off a bench.

Chrome 3 Pin Kit w/ Extended Slide Release for Glock

Chrome 3 Pin Kit w/ Extended Slide Release for Glock
I installed this kit to break up the all black finish of my Glock and they are small enough that this add-on dose not make the Glock look cheap but gives it a nice little contrast. You can do them all or pick and chose its all a matter of what you like. For me I like the look plus I can change them back anytime to the old ones or mix them up now and then just for a change. IF YOUR GLOCK DON'T ROCK YOU! PULL THE TRIGGER.
Chrome BLING!
I wanted to dress up my glock and BLING IT IS with CHROME. Easy to put in and great fit. You wont be sorry give your glock some shine.
Awesome cheap kit
I put this on a Glock 17 Gen 3 and no problem doing so. Keep in mind this was the first time I have even done a mod to a fire arm ever. Simple and easy, gives a nice contrast to the piece. 100 rounds through the beast and no issues. Worth the price for the extended slide release alone.

Cold Steel Mini Recon 1 Spear Point Tactical Folder Knife

indesrtoyable
These recon series knives are top of the line.

The sharpness out of the box is great.
There is no play in the blade.
The grip is superb as a matter of fact it's almost too grippy (no such thing)
The Aus-8 is strong, keeps an edge, easy to sharpen, and resists rust like a lesbian resists men.
The knife is incredibly sturdy "indestroyable" if you will.
SPEED. this is my favorite thing about this knife, the way the handle is made and the thumb stud it almost opens like an assisted, and with the lock back in the middle of the handle it makes it extremely easy to put away one handed.
This thing is so fast it replaced my box cutter at work, (my bosses don't like that)
Diverse sizes, it comes in a four, three and two inch blade.

and if you think i'm paid off by Cold Steel to say this, think again. I work in a meat market where we actually cut meat, i'm a hunter and a fisherman. so i know my way around a blade.

now after all...
Great value
What a fantastic little knife.

The good:
- Very sharp out of the box
- Great blade centering
- Blade lock-up when locked open is very strong
- The value. What you get for the price is amazing.
- The texture makes for an excellent grip
- Very practical blade size and shape for every day tasks
- Blade retention is outstanding. This won't come open in your pocket.

The so-so:
- Would be nice to have some jimping on top to grip your thumb but not critical

The bad:
- The only thing I can say is that the pocket clip and grippy texture under the pocket clip will tear up your pants if you clip it to your pocket.

All in all, a fantastic value. A lot of knife for the price. I don't yet know how the edge retention is but initial impressions are positive.
My first Cold Steel knife
This is a good knife with a grippy handle. Not a great fit in my hand, but is good enough. Having said that the knife is well made and the blade is sharp.

My biggest complaint about this one is the release to close the knife. It is very stiff and takes some work to release. This is not enough for me to recommend against buying this knife. Just be aware of this point.

Outdoor Edge Swingblade SB-10N Rotating Blade Skinning/Gutting Knife

Best Field Dressing Knife Ever
I purchased a Swingblade knife based on the recommendation of a friend. I couldn't be more impressed with how easy it made the field dressing and skining of my last deer. I let 2 friends use it. They both have more than 30 years experience as hunters. After they used the swingblade, they couldn't wait to purchase their own. Both claimed they have never used a knife that was so well designed and that held an edge for so long. Amoung our hunting circle, this knife has been a big hit. Buy one, you will not regret it.
Solid Knife
This knife is a product you always see in commercial, but wonder if it lives up to all the advertisements. Well it does! I was very surprised to open the package and find such a high quality knife. I have had and owned many knives that I have used for hunting and for work and this really is a great knife for the price.
Good For Game Processing
I purchased this as a gift for my son who is an avid hunter. His face lit up when he opened the box. Take that for what it is worth. From what he reports so far is that it works great in the field as well as at home. It appears to be well made and the edges are "SHARP".

Galco Speed Paddle Holster for S&W J Frame 640 Cent 2 1/8-Inch .357 (Tan, Right-hand)

Great Holster!
I love my new S&W J FR 640 CENT 2 1/8" .357,SPEED PADDLE HOLSTER. It looks great and feels very comfortable when worn.
Well designed and fits my revolver exactly right.
This holster is high quality and well made. I followed the break-in procedure and the revolver settled right in -- snug but not too tight to draw without jerking the holster out of place. Only complaint I have is the instructions do not address how to adjust the tilt of the holster even though the description of the product online mentions angle adustment. Overall, a very fine product. I would recommend this holster for anyone who has a short barrel J frame.
One Nice Looking and Functional Holster
If fit my gun perfectly but you do have to go through the adjustment process for a new leather holster. Just follow the instructions and you'll be fine. It's nice to have a easy on and off holster. It has a cool look too. Too bad it's concealed.

Moultrie Game Spy L-50

Moultrie L-50 GameSpy Camera

Multiple defective cameras
Purchased this camera and after only several single-night uses, it quit working. Took it back to the store where purchased and exchanged it for another. That one also quit working after only 4-6 single-night uses. Very poor customer support directly from Moultrie. Would not buy another of their products.
Wish it could use an A/C outlet
My only reason for not giving this unit 5 starts is because the only power options are batteries or buying a solar power pack. We use this camera close enough to power supply that we wish we could use an extension cord plug in with it to save on battery costs.

Guide Gear Jumbo 18' Ladder Tree Stand

A great ladder stand
This is a great stand. It is very stable and roomy. I feel very comfortable in it. My only complaint is that the instructions suck. It was trial and error figuring out what went where with what bolts.
Height worth the money
If you bow hunt you know the advantages of getting just a tad higher on scent leary game. Well having private hunt land I have gone to all ladders and blinds leaving climbers. This stand is good for the money. Use an extra long ratchet strap around legs midway to sturday while tying off. Throw a rope over a limb and pull up to help hold if available. always use a lifting partner. You can also put a tree step in once installed to help lower down to move. Anyone who has used tools can assemble. If you use multiple locations this is also a good route. If you want just one stand to be your penthouse suite then look at an upgrade. If your a girly man and cant get your hands dirty with tools or a little lifting buy a blind. As always use common sense, a safety harness and hunt safe.
No instructions
I just called my friend who is an engineer to see if he can figure out how to put this together. No instructions. Just a parts list. I was putting it together by looking at the image provived on Amazon. I hope it performs in the field if we can assemble it.

Hunter Safety System Pro Series Safety Harnesses, Realtree, Small/Medium

Not what was ordered
Seems to be a good product, and I'll keep it because deer season opens in 2 days and I need it, BUT.. It is NOT as pictured.
I paid a little extra to get the TWO (2) chest snaps. This has ONE, NOT like the picture. So I wasted some cash for nothing.
Pro Series Hunter Safety System, Realtree, 2X/3X
I have been using an old style safety belt for years. Since I am getting older and do not see the risk as acceptable, I chose to invest in a safer system. I made a good choice. The fit and materials are exceptional. I do recommend this system for everyone that uses tree stands. The lineman's belt is a great addition for hang on stands. I have used this sytem for several months and like the features of pockets and storage features. I am very secure and am enjoying using the harness. I am more relaxed and attentive to the reason for being in the tree in the first place. I wonder why I waited so long. I want to buy systems for the whole family. As is, they are impressed with my recommendation. I am very suspicious of advertised claims usually, I am very pleased with this purchase. The price on Amazon was the clincher. I could not pass this up.
very happy
this is a comfortable vest with lots of storage pockets hiving easy access to range finder, calls etc... My only complaint is that the binocular holder slips down due to the weight of binoculars. the binoculars I use are pretty standard and not that heavy. still works just doesn't hold them as close as I would like.

disappointment

Was disappointed when I received it and this is why... First the good point: the blade is outstanding.. strong, sharp ,thick ,purposeful a definite improvement over the Blackhawk. The handle doesn t do jusice to the blade...same size as the Blackhawk but with finer serrations and given the design it is slippery. The real issue to me is the locking mechanism.. it s the same type and desigh and location as the Para Military 2 or the
SuperLeaf but it does not work near as smoothly, further and this is really really annoying ,when the blade locks open the locking lever snaps too far to the center of the handle and pinches my index finger.. this has never happened to me before.
Overall if you can get it open without dropping it and don t flinch when it pinches...
Great blade but handle is too small
I just got a Yojimbo 2 due to the Wharncliffe design plus it's made in the USA, but I don't care for the handle. It's way too small, tapers too much, and is skinny compared to the size of the blade - and I have average sized hands. The taper design makes the knife feel like it's going to slip out of your grip during a draw cut.
I have a few Spyderco Dodos and wish there was a similar handle on this knife. Being Left-handed, I have no problems with the compression lock. In fact, I think the compression lock is a better design for a Lefty since you push the lock over with your left thumb instead of using a weaker right index finger for all those right-handed folks.

Make the handle 10% larger and I might EDC it. I may just use it as a workbench scalpel/razor or put on some larger custom scales.
Awesome knife. One of My Favorites.
This knife seems to be facing an uphill battle because so many people compare it to other knives. It's not the Paramilitary 2. It's a different design. Even though it also has a compression lock, it has a different type of cutout for the compression lock. It takes a little more effort at first to get your finger in and press the lock to close it. It has a different type of blade. This is a Wharncliffe style blade. The PM2 has a curved blade. The spydie hole is smaller than the PM2 hole. It's also a little bit recessed into the scales. All just a small matter of getting used to. Doesn't take long.

So, instead of comparing it to the PM2 or some other knife, it's probably best to review the knife in front of us, the Yojimbo 2. Simply put, this is one amazing knife. I use the middle finger-flick to get it open. With all due respect to the other reviewer, opening the knife this way, my finger has never gotten bitten. The knife was a little stiff on opening and...

Aimtech Warhammer Shotgun Mount, Mossberg 500, 12 Gauge, Black ASM-3WH

Aimtech Warhammer
Once in a while you find a product that just transform the look and feel of a certain item and this is one of them.

The Aimtecth Warhammer not only is totally functional it also makes your firearm looks and feel totally different after you put it on. Having an impressive line-up of rails solidly mounted on your firearm (making putting any accessories on it easy) plus the totally tactical look transform your firearm to something you wouldn't want to be in the business end off. And for me that works well since scaring of would be intruder or thief is so much better than the use of deadly force. That being said there is a few cons to it let me enumerate my Pros and Cons.

PROS:
* Comes with a generous supply of rails for every mounting need.
* Solidly mounts on your firearm, mounted right this thing can handle any recoil
* Fit and finish is superb no sharp edges even in the rails.
* Gives your firearm that very intimidating look...
Attractive yet functional accessory for your shotgun
As stated in many of the other reviews for this product, the Aimtech Warhammer is a very attractive addition to your tactical shotgun and one that offers a lot of mounting options for other accessories. But this comes at a price... a "heavy" price.

I installed this on a Mossberg 590 8-shot Persuader with a Phoenix Technologies Kicklite collapsible stock. The Warhammer afforded me a generous amount of real estate to mount a host of other not-so-essential, but really cool rail-mounted accessories such as Magpul MBUS Gen 2 front/rear flip-up sights, a UTG illunimated red/green dot optical sight, and a UTG tactical weaponlight. This ensemble of dressings amounts to an extreme makeover for my trusted shotty.

The downside is the added weight which is quite hefty. The shotgun out-of-the-box weighs in at about 7 pounds. The Warhammer adds a whopping 2 pounds! The other aforementioned accessories combined pack on an additional 18.5 ounces bringing this bad boy to a total...
Great add-on but NOT for Mossberg 500 Thunder Ranch Edition.
I purchased this after doing much research on a NORMAL Mossberg 500 and it looks and works great but I didn't take into consideration that the install needed to fit over a normal barrel and not a flared out breach barrel that comes on the Mossberg 500 Thunder Ranch Edition. The 2 bracket parts in the front just won't slide over the breach barrel like the instructions said for a normal end barrel. I had to take the barrel off and try and rig them on. Problem is that the diameter of the barrel seems too wide and the shield actually bends over the bracket and doesn't sit straight. It took me over 2 hours to finally get it on but I am not looking forward to having to take it off... Plus if you do try this get yourself a can of flat black touch up paint. You are going to need it!
So I give this 5 stars because it is a great product and the seller was super fast on the shipping but it wasn't made for a special edition gun and with enough elbow grease you can fit it on the Thunder Ranch...

Quad-Band Yaesu VX-8DR Submersible VHF/UHF Amateur Radio Transceiver

Nice compact radio
As a new ham radio guy, I looked at a number of handheld radios before selecting this one. There are 4 operating (RX/TX) bands (6m/2m/222 MHz/440MHz), plus AM/FM tuner, shortwave and weather stations. Plenty of programmable memory slots to store your favourite frequencies, APRS/GPS (with optional receiver) and just a ton of other features to play with. There's even a Morse code trainer in the radio.

All the features does mean that reading the manual is necessary in order to figure out what magic combination of buttons is required to access the various modes and features. Selecting modes and options is done with a combination of button presses and turning the dial. Except for a few things, the radio can be operated pretty easily with just one hand. Transmit power, with the exception of the 6m band (fixed at 1W), can be adjusted to one of 4 levels, up to 5W.

The speaker sounds pretty decent, but you can also plug in regular headphones with a standard 1/8"...
Great Seller, Great Product!
First of all I want to compliment the seller. They are truly a first class operation there at Advanced Specialties. My reason for saying that is I had ordered mt items at seperate time and different orders, I would have had to pay many shipping charges. I sent them an email and ask them to please consolidate my orders wich they did, saved me 30 extra dollars of shipping. The package arrived in record time and just as ordered. Great seller. Very Friendly, Proffesional people at this seller company.

Now about the VX 8DR, This is an excellent radio in a very compact package. The radio has such great features like, APRS Network, Global positioning Capabilities, Sensors built in, Altimeter, volt meter, tempurature, Barometer. Quad band Ham radio 50/144/222/440 bands WOW! Completely submersible, with the ability to establish internet connection through radio repeaters. Can monitor frequencies to 1000 Mhz. AM/FM broadcasts you name it. Truly a great HT to have and be mobile...
Few things it CAN'T do!
Let me put this on the table first- skeptical. That's what I was when I started doing the research behind this little hand-held. I'd say to myself, "there's NO-WAY that little thing could do all that." Well friends and neighbors, this radio does more!

I agree that the user manual is DEEP. Block out at least 3 or 4 hours of your day in order to get an inkling of how this little baby operates. I bought the programming cable with mine but have not had to use it yet. Know your favorite Freq? Type it in and away you go!

More goodies, are you a MARS operator? Don't know what that is? Do your homework and check out the MARS/CAP mod for this radio and extend its already amazing reach!

Not a HAM operator yet? No worries, just lock-out the transmit option and you can scan the waves for chatter all day! I HIGHLY recommend this radio to those can afford it. You will not be disappointed.

Ultimate Arms Gear Mossberg 500-590-835 Tactical Package: Includes New Generation CQB 4 Reticle Dual Red / Green Open Reflex Sight with Weaver-Picatinny Rail Mount, Ultimate Arms Gear Weaver-Picatinny Aluminum Rail Base Mount, Lithium Battery and a Lens Cleaning Kit

Do not buy for shotgun: Check up date
I've uploaded a picture of the results. After the 3rd round the reflecting glass fractured in the upper and lower right. My experience with the seller has been very positive so far, so I don't hold them responsible. We'll see how they resolve this. But this is definitely not ready for shotgun use like the manufacturer would have you believe.

**Update**

I wound up having it replaced twice: Once for the cracked lens, the other because the elevation screw stripped out. I had had to wind it all the way down snug and after about 20 shots it stripped.

The _third_ one seems to be the charm. Took it out and it was again printing high. However this time I shimmed the front of the sight. Not _ideal_ but sometimes you have to do things like that. Got it zeroed and ran close to 100 rounds through it. Worked great! Oh, one other thing. When I first started changing the windage, it didn't seem to be moving much. I tapped the housing a few times and it...
worked well for the money
Mounting went well... had to shorten the screws that mounted the weaver rail because the chambering mechanism bound when they were left long. I have the 590 Mariner version. After that mounted it took a couple rounds to sight it in... Then it was fun... target acquisition is much faster with both eye open and made this weapon even more effective... Probally put 20 rounds through it before my sholder got tired... everything worked well.
Awesome sight.
I love this sight, it is great and quite versatile I will most likely buy more! I highly recommend it.

Standard Horizon HX851 6W Floating Handheld VHF Radio with Glow in the Dark

The best single piece of electronics on your boat of any size
This is a long review because this radio has a LOT of features.

Summary:
The HX851 is an update to the HX850s and is a great handheld VHF radio that boaters operating in open waters should have. If you only operate on inland lakes, then this VHF has a lot of bells & whistles that you don't need, but it's still good at being a basic VHF, and if you take that rare trip on open waters, then it would sure be comforting to have the DSC MAYDAY service. It is the only floating VHF with DSC and GPS that I could find in the summer of 2010. The price is comparable to higher-end handheld VHF radios, and with all the features packed in, it is well worth it.

Positives:
+ Floating
+ Rugged
+ Lightweight
+ DSC with MAYDAY signaling
+ GPS with navigation to waypoints and DSC calls
+ Comes with most of the accessories you need (charging base, antenna, 12VDC and 120VAC chargers)
+ Provides novices with an easy-to-use MAYDAY hailer that...
The best marine HT on the market today
This marine HT is a solid, if incremental, over the highly acclaimed HX850S. It combines an excellent 6 watt marine radio with a very decent GPS navigation function.

The outstanding attribute of this radio is that it supports Digital Signal Calling (DSC). This feature provides two major benefits:
1) it supports DSC distress calling ("the red button") which is a valuable safety feature. Essentially, the radio puts out an automatic distress call which includes the GPS coordinates of the radio.

2) DSC communications. Basically this allows your radio to call a specific other DSC-equipped vessel or radio by means of a digital packet signal sent on channel 70. If the digital call is received by the station being called, the radios automatically (or with user intervention, depending on which option is selected) then switch to a voice channel such as channel 69 for the conversation. This is a really nice feature that will become more and more common and essential...
Anyone going offshore should have this
This is a no-brainer for any boater that goes remotely offshore. The built in GPS, LED, and waterproof floating aspect make this a perfect back up radio in case of emergency. I am pleased with the radio and its construction and luckily have not had to use it much. It comes it a cigarette charger that makes it easy to keep charged even when you don't have a wall outlet.

United Cutlery GH5029 Gil Hibben GenX Pro Thrower Triple Set, Large

"Give me a reason, punk"
Right when I opened the box I was pleased! The blades are amazing, strong and beautiful. I've had them for about a day and I've fallen for these blades! I'm considering buying another set.

PROS
- perfect for no spin throws

- well balanced

- comfortable to grip

CONS
- it dings easily if it ricochets onto concrete floor. (But I'm sure that would happen with any blade)

All in all I Love these throwers!!!
Love these knifes
Well made and sturdy. Heavier then others of the same length. Can throw these all day. I would recommend these knifes looking for great quality throwing knifes.
Hobby
I bought the knives as a gift. My son likes them. They are well made and very balanced. My son understands the use of these and is very respectful of the potential for getting hurt. Getting hurt is a real possibility because of the weight and quality of these knives.

Covert Scouting MP6 Camera

Works better than expected
The day light photos were outstanding and I was able to enlarge them and retain fine detail. Had a red tail hawk land and got three photos in a row and remained in focus as it came in. Night photos were better than a friend that has a more expensive cam. Battery life seems good so far.
Awesome
Finest cameras on the market for the money. It's worth twice as much as you pay for it. I will buy more
Great product
Camera is easy to set up. It takes good pictures day and night. It has a good battery life. We have 3 of these.

Midwest Industries Gen 2 SS-Series 15-Inch Rail, Black

BEST RAIL ON THE MARKET.
I will be up front and say I watched tons of videos/reviews on rails before I purchased this item. The look I wanted was "LVOA-C" which is a really long hand-guard. The rail is very very lite weight and built nicely. It installs and removes quickly and works with most low profile blocks. I didn't purchase one, instead used the standard m4 front sight block. I grinded it down to fit and does awesome.

The rail fits tight on the flat top upper (PSA) and stays aligned with the t marks. It feels awesome in your hand, not sharp on your hands, and comes with rails for tac handle or light/laser mount. The rail shipped fast and was on my gun in a few hours. I LOVE IT!!!
Looks bad a$$ on a 16" barrel
This went on my my first build. It looks awesome on a carbine barrel. It feels sturdy, but I don't run my stuff hard so I can't comment on durability/longevity. I don't think I am ever going to have a problem with it. It is super thin and light weight. The extra rail peices make it easy to mount a vfg. It does include a bipod stud and a rail piece with a qd hole
Great Rail
Received in Prime time. Great fit, finish and very easy to install. 15in on 16.5in barrel looks great.... Would highly recommend this rail to anyone....

Worlds Finest Trimmer 223 Rem

The title says it all!
For the casual reloader that pumps out 20 rounds a season, this is a wash.

If you are like me and have to trim hundreds if not thousands of brass cases, this is worth many times over what they charge. If you have ever had to spend hours upon hours cranking away at a little handle, you know what I am talking about. Although there are some trimmers out there that can be attached to a drill, none of them are near as fast to setup and use as this.

It goes like this:

1. Gauge a case for correct neck length.
2. Inset into tool and ajust depth.
3. Tighten set screw.
4. Attach to drill.
5. Resize brass (about one a second) untill the batteries give out.
6. Get on with your life.
Best trimmer I have used to date!
This trimmer as saved me tons of time already. Was looking at a $400 giruad, but this trimmer does everything I need. I have since order other calibers.
Great trimmer !
Super easy and very accurate trimming. Hooked it up to a cheap harbour freight drill press and was blown away. Finished 300 cases before I even noticed any hand fatigue. Just remember to up the rpm on your drill, the faster the better.

Tasco World Class 3-9x 40mm Riflescope with Mil Dot Reticle

Tasco scope
These scopes are excellent field scopes, good quality for a reasonable price, you can take them out without worrying if its going to get scratched or damaged like you would if you spent $900 on something that does exactly the same thing. Be advised that this product does not include rings to avoid any disappointment

Delivery was super fast and hassle free which makes a pleasant surprise

Thoroughly recommended, good quality product.
Tasco World Class 3-9X
This scope is a good value with features found in more expensive scopes. It is not the first World Class scope I have owned. I bought another for a good reason.
The item was packaged well and arrived on time.
Scope
Good scope for .223 rifle. Keeps its zero, and is very easy to sight. I highly recommend this for the price. Good quality.

Summit Openshot SD Treestand

Summit Open Shot Climbing Treestand
I am 69 years old, and not very strong. I was looking for the lightest, but safe, climber. I had used a friend's Summit Viper, but did not like it because it was much heavier. I hunt in a public area part of the time, and walk back in close to a mile, so weight is a factor. This stand is really easy to climb with, even though you do NOT sit in it when climbing. The seat folds out of the way, so you can get close to the tree, and because you are not sitting you can lengthen the strap that holds the top to the bottom to take longer steps. If I were using a Viper, I would have to move twice as many times, since I have short legs. The open shot has a smaller platform than the Viper, so I would assume that it works better for smaller hunters, than larger ones, but I really don't know. The safety strap that comes with the stand, is a heavy duty quality strap, and is easy to put on. Summit climbing stands are excellent
tree climbing systems. I would recommend this stand to...
Summit Openshot
This stand is exactly what I was looking for. A very light, compact stand that is easy to walk-in a long ways to my hunting location with. It climbs well with the included quick climb stirrups, and bites into the tree well. The included harness isn't a top of the line one, however it is comfortable and quiet, I have decided to use a HSS rope with prusic knot instead of the strap included with stand. Much quicker and easier while climbing. Seat is comfortable and folds up allowing you to stand and shoot. I will say if your looking for something to lounge back in with a large platform look elsewhere. I'm 6'1 and there's just enough room on platform for me to sit down and comfortably have my feet on the platform but not much extra. Perfect stand for guys who are looking for something easy to move with, thats lightweight, and plan on hunting those deep in places that aren't hit by most. I have the SD model and to those with the worries about the noise of the non SD, they fixed it...
Summit open shot sd
First of all this is very light weight and easy to handle and set up. I don't care for the seat, it is big and comfortable but it seems too big for the base. When I stand up I am at the edge of the platform. I think it should be a little smaller. Also, the arm bases for climbing could be a little longer. I am 5'08" and 160lb. so it isnt too bad for me to use but If you are a bigger guy I would think you might find it difficult. I would go for the viper ss or other summit. The other problem is that the screws to the stirrups came out after the 5th time I used it. Make sure you double check and make sure the nuts are tight before climbing. I was lucky that they came off at the bottom of my climb instead of the top. I do recommend the summit brand but the openshot is probably for smaller guys and girls.

Wildgame Innovations 6V Digital Power Control

broken plastic part
I bought the whole solar powered package of three items, feeder mech, solar panel and rechargeable battery. The feeder came with the door latch plastic retainer broken with no evident damage to the original box. It is something that need not have been made so cheaply. I used some J-B Weld and repaired it, rather than going to all the trouble of sending it back. The rechargeable battery seemed limited in taking a charge so I threw it away and bought one locally which was much better. The whole arrangement has now been in place for ten days and appears to be working. It will be a few weeks before I can check on it, but if there are any problems, they will be posted. I have noticed that this same feeder is also marketed by Remington which was on sale at Academy at a lower price.
dead in a season
I had high hopes for this timer/feeder, but it lasted less than 4 months. I will not buy another. My original solar cell feeder lasted 3 years. may have to go back to that.
Wildgame feeder
This product worked great , arrived right on time, great condition & to similar product this was the best & price was excellent.Would highly recommend to friends.

Kwikee Kwiver (4-Arrow Quiver) Kwikee Combo, Mossy Oak Treestand

Holds to its reputation
Just recieved my new quiver last week. I was using the 4arrow TruGlow quiver with only one rubber arrow retention on it. The arrows kept slipping and the broadhead were pushing into the containment foam. Bought this quiver and liked it instantly. The arrows secure tightly, dont slip. There is no foam in the head (which I think causes broadhead to dull), but there is no need for it. The head is rubber lined on inside for vibration dampening. Quiver slips easily but tight onto bow mount.
It is a little tuff to get off the bow, but I think this will improve with wear/use of the mount. The quiver mounts so securely that when taking it off, you have to almost force it off. My arrow nocks hit my riser, making a slight noise every time. On the plus side, it fits so securely there is no rattle of the quiver when shooting with it mounted on the bow (for those who hunt quiver on).
You will need to buy an extra quiver mount to put in your bow case to store your quiver as it only comes...
No more arrows falling out.
Finally a quiver where I do not have to keep looking behind myself while walking to and from the tree stand to make sure no arrows fell out. The Kwikee Kwiver holds my arrows securely in place and removes easily as well. It does everything that an expensive quiver would do except cost you an arm and a leg. I love it.
Kwikee Kwiver (4-Arrow Quiver) Kwikee Combo, Mossy Oak Treestand
Works perfect on my Vista Sage 62", it is very tight and will not vibrate and the arrows are locked in tight as well

Lee Precision .45 ACP Carbide 3-Die Set (Silver)

Great value
Lee dies are a great value. They work very well, and are easy to clean. In my opinion, it isn't worth buying the expensive brands of dies, unless you are shooting 1000 yards competitively. For everyday use, they're great. I have several sets, with no complaints from even the oldest sets I have (at least 10 years for my 9mm set...)
Lee Reloading Dies
They work OK but the position rings do not lock. They seem to be made for single time installation as on a turret press so I had to add lock nuts since I use them in a single position press.
Great Set of Dies
Dies arrived in a timely fashion. Liked the casing and everything about them. Good set of dies overall and work well in my Lee press but since these are universal dies i doubt they would have issues in any press.

Allen Company Remington Premier Shooting Vest (Medium/Large)

Great vest.
I had a chance to take this vest hunting last week out here in the so. cal mountain ranges. With all the dry brush I knew the vest was in for a test. Along the hunt I remember a couple times the vest got caught on some old brush and I was sure it had torn. Once we got back to the truck I took the vest off to see the damage and I was suprised it was completly intact, aside from being dirty. Over all this was a great buy. Happy :) Nice big pockets in front, I filled them up just for kicks to see how many shells they can hold and i was able to get 25 shells easily into each pocket. It also has 2 pockets on the inside with zippers to hold items you wouldnt want to use. Also has a small shoulder pad that is removable. I threw this vest in the washer and dryer and it can out brand new again.
Nice trap vest
No complaints about this vest. I would just note the med-large size will fit snug on a XL tee shirt sized frame. I wasn't sure if I wanted the larger size since I didn't want it to drape on me. The smaller size is nice as far as the length and over all fit, just a bit snug when zipped up. If you are a size large or smaller I think the med-large is great if you are size large or just into XL, otherwise, if you plan on zipping up the vest I would go for the larger size. If you don't zip up then you may like the smaller size.

As for pockets, quality and recoil pad, very happy with all of these. Ample pockets, some velcro to keep things in where others are very large. Recoil pad is long and not too stiff. Very happy with this purchase!
Great vest and would purchase again
I've gone to the skeet range with this vest and it easily holds a case of 12 gauge ammunition in a side pocket. I use the other side for the empty shells. A real nice feature of the vest is that it has a recoil pad (for right hand shooters only). I would definitely purchase this vest again.

Bianchi Accumold 7200 Black Nylon Duty Belt (Waist Size Medium 34-40)

Great Product
Bianchi is a great maker of police duty belts.... I would highly recommend this product. Their belts our strong, durable, and most importantly comfortable. Great purchase
Police Academy tough
I bought this belt for Police Academy. It withstood everything the sadistic instructors threw at us. The buckle got pretty scratched up, but it made it through Academy and is still going strong. I couldn't ask for a better product. I loaded mine down with Bianchi Patroltek products and love them too!! If you need a tough belt that's built for WORK, grab this one!
As advertised
This belt is flawless and as advertised. It is durable and functional, easily adjustable to correct size, and perfectly packaged. I have no complaints on this duty belt at all.

Blade Tech Reinforced Looper Series Gun Belt with 1.5-Inch Wide Square Buckle (Black, 36-Inch)

Excellent fit and finish.
Excellent fit and finish. Belt is rigid yet comfortable. Recommend ordering at least one size bigger so that it's easier to thread the holster on.
Great gun belt
Don't scrimp on the belt when you carry a firearm.
I used to tell myself that my Walmart leather belt works fine but I was kidding myself. This belt holds a firearm, iwb or owb, very securely and its much easier to carry in the woods while hunting or in the city in condition red. This one has been great so far and is a great price.
Very good belt
I carry a compact size (3.9 in barrel) with it. This carries much better than my walmart belts. For the price this is an excellent belt. The only reason I can't rate it a 5 star is because some of the black is coming off where the holster clips ride after only a month of carry.

Spyderco Manbug FRN Plain Edge Knife, Black

Just a Little Less "Delicate" Lady Bug
Saul Glesser, the owner/designer at Spyderco, must be a perfectionist, because to me it is a toss-up between the Ladybug (Spyderco Labybug 3 Plain Edge Knife, Foliage Green) and the Manbug. No, neither knife has any obvious gender orientation and one does not look more "manly" or "ladylike" than the other (setting aside handle color, of course). But I guess since Glesser gave his original "key chain knife" a "cutesy-pie" name it gave him an opportunity to riff on that name with the "Manbug." If you think "Manbug" is going to transform the key chain Ladybug into a Ramboesque, but still key chain, knife ... well, you take advertising copy way too seriously.

True, the blade is wider on the Manbug than on the Ladybug, and so is the handle, but the only important issue is whether the Spydie hole is sufficiently large enough to open the blade one-handed. Yes, it is; but it's also large enough on the current...
A nice small knife.
I really wanted to like this knife more than I do and perhaps I would had I not purchased a Ladybug 3 FRN H1 Hawkbill for my wife at the same time. First, the pros: The knife is small and discreet while still maintaining a decent blade length, it is sharp (as are all Spyderco knives) and it comes in a standard color, unlike the Ladybug mentioned above. Now the cons: The Manbug simply does not perform as well as the Ladybug for many of the cutting tasks knives this small are used for. This is almost certainly due to the blade geometry and the standard uses for a sub-2" blade. Ultimately, unless you are using the knife for food prep or something requiring a plain edge, the hawkbill provides a better cutting surface for zipping through boxes, cables, rope, fabric and seat belts (ok, I have not had the opportunity to try it on seat belts).

Nonetheless, the knife is sharp, well-built and useful for any small task where a plan edge, standard geometry blade is useful; so,...
Fantastic EDC
This has been my new favorite EDC ever since I got it. It's large enough to perform most tasks with ease and small enough to keep on a key ring or front pocket.

Mojo Outdoors Baby Mojo Hen

Effective... but
I know the large version works so I am convinced that the smaller, lighter version will be equally effective - and easier to transport. I happened to have an extra remote control so I was curious if it would fit into the smaller version. It did but just barely. In the small version there is barely enough room to slide in the remote receiver with the velcro affixed to it. The remote is handy to have. The wing motion is most effective in low light. My hunting buddy is convinced that in bright sunshine the motion spooks the ducks. Be aware that the wings on the small Mojo are a sort of honey combed plastic rather than the aluminum wings on the full size version. Remains to be seen how sturdy they are but on plus side they may float unlike the big Mojo wings which will sink like a rock. Definitely should find a spare wing nut for the wings in case you drop and lose that in the dark. And definitely don't drop the Mojo in the water - can attest that these things are not waterproof - however...
Pretty disappointed
This is not my first mojo. I have an older one that has held up well. I used this mojo once and the switch circuit quit. I just hardwired it to the battery clips. The post that the newer ones come on is weak, thinner and short. Pushing it into a sandy bottom using the provided 'step' it collapsed on itself and the 'spring' detent between sections just popped off.
In my old one the post is a circular dowel like tip that sticks into the belly of the mojo and it can rotate with the wind. The newer powered mojo comes with a prefixed square mount on the belly of the duck that has to insert into the square of the post. And for $9 you can buy an adapter that lets your mojo swing with the wind. For $1.50 I used a couple PVC pieces and made my own sway with wind adapter. If the movement didnt work so well on the birds I would return it. They definitely cheapened down the product while increasing the price.
Plastic brittle and breaks in cold weather
I was excited to get this thing in the water, but before I had, one of its feet snapped off. To make things worse, I was cradling it in my arm as I was picking up my other deeks and the other foot snapped off! Bottom line: the plastic used on the feet is brittle in cold weather (I was hunting in 25 degrees). Why in the world could they not have used a more rubbery plastic on the feet that didn't break off? BECAUSE then they couldn't sell you replacement feet! Cool product potential, but for the price I think they need to improve the quality a lot.

NcStar 4X32 Rubber Compact with Red Laser/Blue Illuminated/P4 Sniper/Green Lens/Quick Release (SRTP432G)

WOW! Crisp, well made and LOVE IT
I was skeptical about buying an NCSTAR for my AR. I didn't have the big bucks to buy an EOTECH or other high end scope, so I took a chance. I can't say for long term reliability but out of the box this thing was almost DEAD on. Took it to the range yesterday and did 3 shots at 50 yards. Took a look and I was 1 inch low and 1 inch left. 1 adjustment later and I was putting bullets inside of bullet holes (with a bench rest) LOVE THIS SCOPE. I was ready to try this and return it if I didn't think it was worth the money, but after 400 rounds yesterday on my AR, it held true all day long. It is a great scope. I will say I was looking at several scopes before buying this and ALL of them I was looking at were 3-9, but somehow I ended up with this, being only a 4x. I would love this scope even more if it was a 3-9, and I'm sure if I look they might make one like this in a 3-9 but honestly, you really don't need it for shooting 50-200 yards. I do like the built in laser, although not...
Nice quality scope half the price all the quality!
Easy to sight in, and my rifle was 4.5 inches bore to scope center! Awesome fit and finish.Laser is not super powerful but for close quarters in low light plenty good.
Dave
Very nice scope for the money.
This scope works as advertised.Zeroed it in with only a few shots. The scope works great, and is a great price compared to some of the other high end scopes.

Legendary Whitetails Outfitter Hoodie Black/RTAP Medium

Perfect
I can't say enough good things about this, fit is perfect and true to size the quality and finish are outstanding, extremely comfortable and very warm this is the best hoodie I have ever owned and it will get much wear so I have already purchased three more because I know this will get worn out this coming winter. You can't go wrong with this. Hope this review was helpful.......
Favorite hoodie i own
Comfortable and warm. It doesn't choke your neck due to a little more fabric cut out around the throat. A must for cold weather.
AWESOME HOODIE!!!!!!!!!!!
I absolutely love this!!!! it is very warm, and i have had so many compliments on it.....plan on puchasing a couple more!!!! definately recommend to anyone!!!!!

Mako Tactical Folding Grip (Black)

Mine didn't come with a QD lever or button. Grip + for glock, - for AR15
Bought this for my AR-15 and knew it would look cool on my glock if I put it on, as the pictures show.

Well, the problem is that there's no quick detach lever, or quick detach button. Also, it's not that sturdy when it's down. When I apply forward pressure it locked forward a bit but also can move back. Don't get me wrong, I love mako products. And for people that are using this as an attachment with an SBR/glock mod and they have the tax stamp, etc...I'm ALL for it. Great product for just that. But there are better grips out there for an AR-15 that are more sturdy, more comfortable, with storage for tac-light batteries, etc. I think this only makes sense for a glock owner, making it into a legal SBR, or if they are bent on having all mako products on their AR-15, etc. Just my two cents. Hope someone found it helpful.
Mako Tactical Folding Grip
Great forward grip. Low profile and light weight. What I also like is it feels good to hold onto in the folded position also.
Debatable AOW
It is questionable as to whether adding this to your handgun would make it an AOW. I spoke with 2 ATF agents last week and asked them about this. Their reply was that it did not make the pistol an AOW. If the buttstock is added it becomes a SBR and therefore requires registering with ATF. My suggestion would be to not take as gospel anything anyone on line says about certain things. CHECK FOR YOURSELF. Talk to an ATF agent and find out for yourself. They are friendly and more than willing to answer your questions. It seems that it is all a matter of interpretation. According to strict interpretation of the BATFE rules, a Taurus Judge revolver could be considered an AOW since it is a pistol that fires shot shells. Go figure. Best choice. Do the research yourself by talking to the people that know.

SentrySafe SFW123GDC 1.23 Cubic Feet Electronic Fire-Safe, Gun Metal Grey

Ours got stuck in the locked position: had to hammer it open
I can't speak to how fireproof this safe might be. But I can tell you about the lock mechanism, from cold hard experience, as this has the same internals as similar models. After ours broke, we could not even dispose of it: we can't risk that someone else might access our computer backups.

The official recommendation from SentySafe appears to be "tap it with a rubber mallet, spray wd-40 in, and try again. We did, and finally managed to get the stripped and nearly useless mechanism to budge. The construction on the mechanism is inferior consisting of a mix of pot metal held in place by plastic guides. This is cheap made in China junk that just won't stand the test of time. Only buy it if you don't plan on opening or closing it very often.
Poor Quality
The safe was shipped with a 2" ding on the corner of the safe. The shipping box showed no damage. The dinged area was sanded and painted - a real quality blunder on Sentry Safe's part. I would ship it back but it isn't worth the hassle.

The handle was flimsy - I am concerned that it might break unless I am careful with it.
Stuck after a year
Just out of warranty, and the solenoid that unlocks after punching in the code is inop. Items are stuck in safe - customer service says that I can 'hit the safe with a mallet to open it'. Dont buy this piece of junk.

Ultimate Arms Gear Lightweight Edition AR15 AR-15 M4 Carbine Rifle Quad 4-Weaver / Picatinny Rail Aluminum Handguard + Covers

Great Handguard for the price
Yes there are expensive handguards out there with some really cool designs but do you REALLY want to pay $100+ for a handguard?
This handguard is right for the money. It allows you 4 rails to attach anything and everything to your rifle without going broke. All tools needed are included. The only thing I would suggest is to get the delta ring compression tool to accompany it. That tool makes changing handguards really easy.
Great fit.
The railed hand guard arrived quickly and fit perfectly. It was very easy to install. Should come with mounting instructions as it took me a couple minutes of looking at it and the rifle to figure out which way it goes. Quality seems to be very high. Very good fit and finish. Much lower cost than competitive products.
Great Quad Rail
So far so good the rail feels nice and sturdy on my spikes tactical AR-15. I didn't want to spend the money for a free float but I wanted a rail that looked good. It was easy to install and came with all the parts. If your looking for a good rail that's not expensive I would definitely consider this one.

Officially Licensed ALAMO MC-AB01 Hunting Knife 17.25-Inch Overall

EXCELLENT REPRODUCTION
The Bowie arrived on time and in excellent condition except for a loose screw. Not a problem that a small screwdriver and some Locktite didn't solve. This Bowie is a faithful reproduction of the movie version and is probably about as close to Jim's own knife as one is likely to get with the vagaries of history and fancy. I like it.
Alamo Bowie Knife
This is an excellent knife. It is very similar to the one in the Movie "The Iron Mistress" which is the one I was seeking.
Excellent product with some niggling points though!
What a gargantuan hefty piece of cutlery!. After seeing the movie "The Iron Mistress" from 1952, I was desperate for a knife that resembled the one in the movie, but alas, relicas of that knife are often made by high class knife smiths, who are prone to charge you an arm and a leg. When this knife came upon the market, I made the decision to make a purchase solely because this is the only mass produced knife that roughly resembles the one from the movie, but is not a 100% exact replica. Even so, it is also only a knife with a passing resemblance to the one used in the 1960 "Alamo". The knife itself is 1st class in quality. The blade is top quality stainless, whilst the fittings are brass plated, with a very nice handle with "Jim Bowie" plaque. Scabbard is really top quality and does not have the silly embossing anywhere, indicating country of origin or the films it was supposed to be seen in (unlike the poor Rambo knives also made by this firm, "Hollywood Collectable Group-Master...

Spyderco Tenacious G-10 Combo Blk

All-Black Functional Beauty
This knife, completely manufactured in China, is wholly black - the blade, handle scales, pocketclip, screws, even the linerlock and internal liners of the G10 scales - with no part or piece uncoated. Only the Spyderco bugs on the blade and clip are silver, along with the legends at the rear of the blade, are highlighted and outstanding by their lack of the black colouration/coating. Against black uniform pants or jeans of that colour, this knife all but disappears, being noticed by only the sharpest eyed observer, thus being less socially objectionable when carried out in ' gentle ' company and situations. The pocketclip can be arranged for tip-up, tip-down, right- or left-hand carry, but the linerlock can be manipulated singlehanded successfully only with the right hand, as the left handed operator may well cut a finger to some degree if trying to close this knife only with that hand. A small matter to some, but it needs to be mentioned as this may be a deal breaker to others ( but...
excellent piece for the price
I read lots of reviews and info on knife forums all over the net
and came up with this one for an every day carry folding. More than pleased with
what I got for what I paid. Super sharp right out of the box.
One hand opening is a snap. Very comfortable in my hand. I'm a lefty
and loved that I could change the location of the clip as needed.
The all black looks way cool also.
I'd buy this one again in a snap if I lost mine but hope I never do.
(Yes I'm a girl and carry a knife daily.)
Spyderco never fails to impress.
This is another great knife! It's light and feels well constructed. I would buy this knife again. This knife is my 3rd spyderco and won't be my last!

Gerber 31-001159 Myth Field Dress Kit Includes Pro Gut Hook Knife, Compact Fixed Blade, and Piggyback-Style Sheath with Sharpener

Nice Field Dress Kit...take a look at the video

Great set!
Perfect set! Bought as a gift and plan on getting my own. Blades arrived sharp as is normal for Gerber. Compact and lightweight. I do not know about sharpener because we did not need it, blades kept a good edge after use. You will not be disappointed.
Gerber did it again
I love these little knives. They are true Gerber quality as well as lite, comfortable, and very handy. The sharpener at the bottom of the sheath makes it the handiest I have incountered.
