Spyderco Ladybug3 British Racing FRN Zdp189 Plain Edge Knife, Green

Incredible knife!
I have a real EDC problem: I'm pathologically unable to tolerate a bunch of crap in my pockets. Yet I won't leave home without at least my keys, a decent flashlight and a quality knife. I'd been EDC'ing a Victorinox Classic SAK. It's a pretty handy tool overall. I absolutely love the scissors and the tweezers and toothpick got used pretty regularly. But the actual knife blade was a bit sub-par. True, it came sharp but it's a bit too small and flimsy for the tasks I need it for (eg. cutting down cardboard boxes, opening packages) and edge retention is poor.

I decided to try replacing my SAK with the Ladybug in ZDP-189. I must say right off that this is a SERIOUS piece of steel! Like all Spyies this was beyond razor-sharp OOTB. So far edge retention has been great, no surprise given the properties of the exotic super-steel that the blade is made of. The real surprise is just how useful and easy to handle the knife is. Extremely useful and nobody will ever question it.
It's small but very useful for most daily knife tasks. I carry 4 knives most of the time and the smallest one in my pocket is usually the one I reach for if it will do the job. This steel holds a sharp edge long time and ergonomics are great despite the size.
Another Spyderco Ace
This tiny knife is very much like it's big brother, Delica. It's just a mini version. The quality is top notch. The ZDP-189 steel holds a very good edge. I haven't sharpened mine yet. Haven't needed to. This is my second Ladybug and I'm really looking at one more. They come in handy for so many small jobs like opening the mail or a stubborn bag of chips. I also have a Dragonfly and a Delica 4, but I keep finding myself going for the Ladybug when I need a blade. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the color. The green is so dark, it looks black. Easy to lose, Maybe I'll make a lanyard for it from brightly colored paracord. Super little knife. Get at least one for your collection.

They're Trijicon Tritium sights. You wouldn't be looking at them if you didn't already know they are the best, most expensive, sights out there. But if you don't know, they generate their own light. The sights do not need any ambient light. You want the best? Then you'll get these.

They're Trijicon night sights. They go on your home defense pistol. Fits on my M&P9 just fine and Trijicon stands by their product.

Pricey, but better than stock sights. They're designed for low light situations. It is what it is and don't complain about the price!

Big Game Treestands The Swivel-Action Shooting Bench

Great price & service
I ordered this about 4pm on 6th March and itn was delivered to my yard at 10:50am on the 7th! Outstanding service from Amazon! I had it put together and ready to use before noon. The seat is a little short for me but I'm bigger than the average shooter, 6'5" and 388#. This will be easy to modify. After using some of the other shooters benches I figured I had better be getting my own. Next thing to do is fasten some hook and loop straps so when it's folded up it won't pinch fingers and hands so readily. Bench is stable and turns well. Looking forward to using it in June in S.D. I saved $40 by ordering thru Amazon!!
Great bench for the price
Received the bench two days before the expected date and packing was in excellent condition. The picture instructions are a little confusing at first but a little sense and you can but the thing together. It is solid and holds me with no sag. I am 250 pounds and I can swivel 360 degrees with no sag or hiccup. I highly recommend this item and the seller. It is nice to buy something online and have the seller show pride in their packaging and getting things sent out of the warehouse in a timely manner.

One small down side is the "leather" cover for the top only last a few trips out, but some cheap stuff at the craft store will easily replace it when I decide too.
Prairie dog Killer
Tried many different setups on a hunt and this one was so good I bought it and am using it with the shooters ridge steady point shooting rest which I also tried out before buying. More expensive is NOT better. This is the combo! Both are light, easy to store, and very functional.

Bulldog 7 X12 X 10-Inch Standard Digital Pistol Vault

Unreliable keypad...unsupportive company
I purchased this gun safe in March 2012 and as of June 1st, have had the keypad malfunction ~5 times. The malfunction is sporadic and unpredictable. Upon entering the 6-digit code (at least 6-digits are required), the keypad begins rapidly beeping and will not stop until I unlock the safe with the key and remove the batteries. I have contacted the company about the problem and have been completely ignored. I DO NOT recommend this safe.
Nice safe for the price
As many other reviewers point out for this and other budget safes, this is not buglar proof, but it is a good storage box to keeps kids aways from guns, etc. There are a couple items, but none worth docking the safe for including:

The safe is actually 12 3/16" maybe 12 1/4" wide, but definitely not 12"... This might sound immaterial and it is, unless you are trying to fit it in a space that is 12 1/8" wide. I found a different location, but a small bummer.

The buttons are loud. You are announcing to the whole floor that you are accessing a safe. I have not figured out how to disable or mute them yet and I am not sure I want to (see keypad lag below). Instead I find myself using the key half the time when I want to keep it quiet.

I have had the safe for about a month and have never had a problem with it opening from the keypad (pretty regular use), except when I type in the code wrong. Unfortunately the key pad only allows you to type so fast and...
Horrible security
If you tap the top of the safe while trying to open it 3-4 times, it'll pop open without any code entered at all. I saw this on YouTube ([...]) and tried it out. Unfortunately, I could reliably get it to open easily every time that I tried.

Simmons .44 Mag Truplex Reticle Side Parallax Adjustment Riflescope, 4-12x44mm (Matte)

Great so far
I'll update this after I shoot it. I have 3 old (from 90's) simmons 44 mag scopes in 2-7. They were not much cheaper at the time than this scope is now. They have bad eye relief and not super clear optics but they also hold zero very well, better than my Leupolds although eye relief isn't nearly as good and the optics aren't nearly as good as the Leupolds.

First impressions:

This scope is lighter than the old model, even though it is higher power and longer. Old 44 mag 2-7 is 464 grams (scale doesn't do tenths so I put it on grams). New 44 mag 4-12 is 386 grams.

New scope has more eye relief. I put them side by side and then moved back until I couldn't see through the old one, the new one was clear noticably farther back. I think the new one has .75 inches more eye relief according the specs. It seems to be at least that much difference.

A high quality, rugged riflescope
The Simmons .44 MAG 4-12x44 riflescope is an excellent choice for most serious hunters. It's lightweight due to the simple, one-piece tubular construction. This means it's got about 20% fewer parts than most other riflescopes, which should make it very reliable (fewer things to go wrong). The optics are bright and extremely clear, with a good 3.75-inch eye relief. It's very easy to adjust and holds its adjustments on my hard shooting .30-06 Winchester Model 70. I also like the 3.75-inch eye relief, which keeps everything in view without having to adjust my cheek position, even when adjusting the magnification from x4 to x12. I discovered that Simmons is owned by Meade Instruments, Inc. of CA, which has been manufacturing commercial and recreational optics for many years. Great scope for a great price
This scope took a bit to get sighted in, but it's working wonderfully. All of the features are definitely worth it. The parallax adjustment especially was useful getting everything set just right.

Spyderco Ultra Fine Benchstone with Box, 2 X 8 -Inch

Lives Up To Spyderco Motto
If you use flat whet stones to sharpen blades, you will love this series of sharpening stones from Spyderco. The Medium passes for Fine on most stones, yet does an excellent job of imparting the initial bevel to your blade.

You use these dry, so there is no messy cleanup from spilled oil or water splashes to worry about. The ceramic material is more aggressive than it appears it should be, but it is not as quick as a diamond sharpner. If your blade is only moderately dull, just a few strokes is all you probably need to get you started on an incredibly sharp blade. For some uses, this is all you will need.

For greater sharpness, follow the Medium with the Fine stone. The surface for the Fine block resembles a really high grade honing stone. If you are touching up a blade that is already reasonably sharp, again, just a few strokes should do the trick. When done, your blade will probably be at factory new sharpness.

Not flat and virtually impossible to flatten
I bought this stone and it was decidedly concave. If you put a straight edge on it and looked at it sideways you could see a lot of light coming through the middle. I called up Spyderco and was told to return it. I did that - and they sent it right back to me with a little note saying it was within their tolerances.
not lapped as stated
These stones are supposed to be lapped flat, yet the very first time I put metal to it, saw marks were evident on both sides. The stone could not have been properly lapped flat if concentric, parallel ridges and valleys from the saw are still present.

Aim Sports 2-7X32 Pistol Scope with Rings

good scope
i got this scope for my mosin nagant as well. the scope holds up well for the price. although i no longer have it on my mosin due to other upgrades its still a good value. good clear sight pic.

I got one of these Aim 2-7 x 32mm scopes, and it has held up to the savage recoil of the 7.62x54r
Mosin Nagant. I shot about 40 rounds with this scope on a UTG Tri rail, and it seems to place
shots withing a 4" dia at 100 yards with corrosive surplus ammo. No strange patterns every 3 shots like
the first Aim 2-7x42mm scope I tried. This scope is a scout scope with crosshairs, it is slightly shorter
than an NC Star. It comes with a set of low aluminum rings, and everthing was assembled with
blue lok-tite. It has bungie corded dust covers and it seems clear. I will try it again
next week with some heavier non corrosive 174 grain rounds. It is made in China, like
everthing sold in america, so I can't give it a five. It came with a lens cloth and a
nice box. So far it is an inexpensive scout scope that has held up to the recoil.
