Fits in the breast pocket
I have another tactical pen from Amazon (6" Clip Holder Aluminum Tactical Black Pen Good Quality) that I bought for the Mrs., is a great tactical pen for the money, but it was really big and bulky. So I'll take the big one and give this pen to her as it is svelte and easily fits in the breast pocket. I found that the springing action of the clip is really tight, but that is easily loosened by flexing it a few times. This pen gives a nice "click" sound when you pop on the cap. I like it that the cap pops onto both ends, rather than screws on, which can take a lot of time. I highly recommend this pen, due to elegance, the way it writes and mostly because it doesn't scream "TACTICAL PEN HERE!!!"
CRKT Williams vs. Schrade
For self-defense the Schrade is a thicker pen with a blunter end and is thus in my opinion is better suited for serious deep bruising or breaking of bones. The Schrade's relatively wide flat top allows for a very secure grip with thumb squarely on top. The CRKT Williams is slimmer with a pointier tip. It will in my option do a serious puncture wound if used. The CRKT diameter thins in the center providing for a firm grip plus a pleasant look.

The Schrade cap twists off with 2
