Allen Company Remington Premier Shooting Vest (Medium/Large)

Great vest.
I had a chance to take this vest hunting last week out here in the so. cal mountain ranges. With all the dry brush I knew the vest was in for a test. Along the hunt I remember a couple times the vest got caught on some old brush and I was sure it had torn. Once we got back to the truck I took the vest off to see the damage and I was suprised it was completly intact, aside from being dirty. Over all this was a great buy. Happy :) Nice big pockets in front, I filled them up just for kicks to see how many shells they can hold and i was able to get 25 shells easily into each pocket. It also has 2 pockets on the inside with zippers to hold items you wouldnt want to use. Also has a small shoulder pad that is removable. I threw this vest in the washer and dryer and it can out brand new again.
Nice trap vest
No complaints about this vest. I would just note the med-large size will fit snug on a XL tee shirt sized frame. I wasn't sure if I wanted the larger size since I didn't want it to drape on me. The smaller size is nice as far as the length and over all fit, just a bit snug when zipped up. If you are a size large or smaller I think the med-large is great if you are size large or just into XL, otherwise, if you plan on zipping up the vest I would go for the larger size. If you don't zip up then you may like the smaller size.

As for pockets, quality and recoil pad, very happy with all of these. Ample pockets, some velcro to keep things in where others are very large. Recoil pad is long and not too stiff. Very happy with this purchase!
Great vest and would purchase again
I've gone to the skeet range with this vest and it easily holds a case of 12 gauge ammunition in a side pocket. I use the other side for the empty shells. A real nice feature of the vest is that it has a recoil pad (for right hand shooters only). I would definitely purchase this vest again.

Glock Pistol 3 Dot Front And Novak Rear Night Sight Set

Trijicon performance: a winner once again
Definitely for the pistol shooter who likes the 3-dot sighting system. Bought and installed this model GL11 NS on a Gen3 G17 RTF2. Typical Trijicon quality; in other words it's the usual high standard one comes to expect from the company's Bright & Tough tritium sights. This is my first set with the Novak-style rear; after a few hundred rounds I've begun to prefer these over the less pricey and more common GL01 model, at least for range use. The dots on the GL11's Novak-style rear sights are spaced closer together than those on the GL01, making for me the task of acquiring the front sight and sighting it on target a bit more challenging, at least initially. But as I've been working on my draw I've gotten my muscle memory to the point that I can acquire the 17's sight picture quickly. The narrow sight window also means that there's a bit less estimating when it comes to centering the front sight dot between the two rear dots (presuming that the sights are aligned properly with the axis...
Novak/Trijicon Glock sights
Good price on the sights from Amazon. Nice sights. Not as bright as SIG sights, but good. Front sight a breeze to install. Did not come with any blue loctite so you will need to purchase some for the front screw. Rear sight took a lot of patience. Had to spend some time slowly filing the rear sight to get it to fit. Very tight. If you don't have a sight pusher and ability to fit a sight yourself, you will need to get a gunsmith to install it. This was on a new Glock 30SF.
Great night sites for carry
These are great sights, not too bright and novak style to prevent snares on clothing when concealing. One of the best improvements I've made to my Glock.

Traditions Performance Firearms Solid Wood Top Presentation Box for Revolvers

Worth the money!
I purchased this based on the previous review with a bit of apprehension. Imagine my suprise when I found the previous reviewer was not only wrong but obviously not happy with any thing less then a bullet proof safe. It is a good looking and functional case and representative of how black powder pistols were purchased in the 1800's. I do agree with the previous reviewer in one respect, the lock is not much, but if you own firearms and you want them secured, you keep them in a safe. As for how cheaply it is made... drop your laptop computer and see if it holds up. I do not think his drop assessment with a 3 lb gun in it is a reasonable assessment. This is a display case, nothing more and in that role this item is functional & excellent. I have two of them and considering purchasing another. The size is generous, I have a colt 1860 with an 8" barrel in one and it fits very well. Additional compartments hold a powder flask, spare cylinder, caps and enough space left over for balls,...
great for a gift.
Bought it to give a 44 super black hawk and it fits perfect 7 1/2 inch barrel. Looks great. Only draw back is the fake like lock.
perfict for my needs
bought this case for a black powder pistol and accessories, and every thing fit very well. nice finish both inside and out.
