Do not buy for shotgun: Check up date
I've uploaded a picture of the results. After the 3rd round the reflecting glass fractured in the upper and lower right. My experience with the seller has been very positive so far, so I don't hold them responsible. We'll see how they resolve this. But this is definitely not ready for shotgun use like the manufacturer would have you believe.
**Update**
I wound up having it replaced twice: Once for the cracked lens, the other because the elevation screw stripped out. I had had to wind it all the way down snug and after about 20 shots it stripped.
The _third_ one seems to be the charm. Took it out and it was again printing high. However this time I shimmed the front of the sight. Not _ideal_ but sometimes you have to do things like that. Got it zeroed and ran close to 100 rounds through it. Worked great! Oh, one other thing. When I first started changing the windage, it didn't seem to be moving much. I tapped the housing a few times and it...
worked well for the money
Mounting went well... had to shorten the screws that mounted the weaver rail because the chambering mechanism bound when they were left long. I have the 590 Mariner version. After that mounted it took a couple rounds to sight it in... Then it was fun... target acquisition is much faster with both eye open and made this weapon even more effective... Probally put 20 rounds through it before my sholder got tired... everything worked well.
Awesome sight.
I love this sight, it is great and quite versatile I will most likely buy more! I highly recommend it.
