Xgen Xgenpro 3x Digital Night Vision Viewer

Great device for the price!
This thing works incredibly well. I had an old Russian made Gen1+ scope that finally gave up the ghosts on me; this thing works much better. Has three levels of IR illumination--works great on the lowest setting. Uses standard AA batteries and is well built.

Display is backlit LCD and clear enough; more like looking through a camcorder viewfinder than the traditional night vision scope with intensifier tube. More durable and won't be damaged by daylight.

All in all, for the price it's a great buy. A+
Great low budget night vision
Good bang for the buck. Brings in objects a bit past 100 yards. Moon or artificial lights in the area would increase it somewhat. Excellent at 50 yards. It has three settings for intensity and IR and either a 3x or 6x magnification. At full power, the video slows down noticeably (8 fps is slow), but other two frame rates are fine (12 and 25). I haven't given it a full run to see how long batteries will last, but the only thing I would like would for it to be water proof. Great deal in all.
Ok for limited use
I purchased this knowing that its the least expensive way to try night vision. I wanted to use it with my airgun also for night time rat control. This didn't work out as it could not focus into the scope like some sony camera setups that are on Youtube. The quality was ok for large objects but I had a hard time seeing a clear enough view of cat size or smaller at 20yards away. The brightness of the picture should be dimmable or red as you totaly loose all night vision in the eye you use to view thru scope. I returned mine and will try something else. This would work well for a entry level personal security device to scan a property for intruders out to 100 yards though.

Xgen 2x Digital Night Vision Viewer

My first impressions...
Ok. So i intended to use this for hunting. I hunt wild boars in the evenings. Therefore, NV is a very important for me.
My first impressions can be summoned in pros and cons.
PROS: small, light weight
CONS: eats batteries, makes loud clicks when you turn it on (and this is not just one click, because in order to see in pitch dark, you have to click like 5 times to get to the highest IR illumination. Picture is little weird to be.While other NV I owned had little greenish, but real time picture, this one has almost black and white picture, that seems like digital, because there is a slight delay.

I compared this item to my yukon NV and I have to say that yukon has won. Even though it is bulkier, yukon has a better picture, and its definitely better on the batteries. Plus, in the dusk conditions, yukon can work without IR, while XGEN, due to a small lens cannot work without IR at all.

In summary, if you are looking something to play with, I guess its...
Works Well For My Needs - Recommended!
This Night Owl Optics "XGEN 2X Digital Night Vision Monocular" is a good value for a very functional, low-end night vision monocular. The monocular is very small and lightweight, making it perfect for camping or adding to a "Bug Out Bag". The optical quality is better than expected and the IR emitter does a nice job lighting up a dark room. The unit has two lenses, each with a focus that must be set in conjunction to optimize the picture clarity. The unit also has a "mode" setting that adjusts the IR emitter power and frame-rate to get the best performance for the operating environment. The included "pleather" carrying case is functional, but nothing special. I very much like that it takes standard three standard AA batteries (not included), which are always easy to get.

This is not a high-end unit, but it is not priced like one either.

Recommended!

Good for the price
I just received my Night Owl and considering the low price, I am pretty happy with it. Once you get it adjusted, the picture is really clear. Like most all monocles the field of view is pretty narrow. The distance is pretty good. It is small and light. Over all, 4 out of 5 stars. Don't expect military quality, but if you are looking for a small, inexpensive, digital NV, this is a good pick.

SentrySafe X031 Security Safe, 0.3 Cubic Feet, Black

BEST OUT THERE FOR THIS PRICE
I looked at TONS of safes and TONS of reviews. This is the most secure and also good looking.

Pros (VS OTHERS)
-Lipped front panel (makes it hard to pry open)
-Key is very complicated and makes it hard to pick
-No Electronics (Not going to stop working on you and cant "trick the safe for unauthorized open"
-Plenty of room (I have a handgun, flashlight, 500 rnds of .22 and 200rds of 9mm and 50 rds of shotgun ammo in it)
-2 Keys
-able to screw into wall and floor from the inside

Cons:
- None so far
Wouldn't open after using it maybe a dozen times
I bought one of these safes about six months ago and have probably opened it a dozen times since then. For a two month period I didn't need to get into it. When I tried to open it after that I inserted the key and it engaged the bolt but would not open the safe. I had to get it drilled to get it open. Production quality appears low as the bolt and key mechanism were always a bit loose. I had left the safe completely undisturbed in a closet during the time it somehow degraded into non-functional. Stay away from this POS if you want to actually be able to get into the stuff you put inside of it!
As advertised.
Works fine. Wouldn't stop a determined thief, but will keep things away from the kids.

IWB Holster Springfield XDS.45, Black Right-Handed No Laser

Very nice
This is a very nice iwb holster for the new xds .45. Fits nice and secure, easy to reholster with one hand, and can be carried comfortably all day. Highly recommended!
Ok Fit
The XDS fits just ok. Not great but not bad. The outside testures seems a bit abrasive since the leather is on inside and the outside has a somekind of coating on it.
Inner pants Xds .45 leathet holster
Very pleased with the shipping. Arrived ahead of scheduled date. Very pleased with the quality and comfort fit in front inner pants as well as side carry. Conceals Gun well and holds gun up high enough to accomidate sitting without discomfort. Gun fits snug in holster and easy to draw from. Feels more comfortable the more I wear it. Currently looking into other holsters for my larger guns for ccw. Confident in the construction and will buy more quality products from talon products. Thank you for your attention to detail and quality. Most of all made in the USA by fellow americans who know the importance of a good quality product.

Zero Tolerance ZT0301ST Ranger Green Folder Knife with SpeedSafe and Partial Serration

Awesome knife
The heft and grip of this knife is awesome. The blade came super sharp out of the box. This is definitely one of my best knives if not THE best. The best part of all...MADE IN USA.
ZERO TOLERANCE SPRING ASSISTED SLING BLADE FOLDER RANGER MODEL
The Zero Tolerance spring assisted 'RANGER' is really the only choice for a high-end 'flip folder' or assisted (one hand) sling blade knife. I have over 30 years experience in paramilitary knife applications and can recommend this knife with no reservations. Be sure to get the Torx T-6 head Kershaw 'T-Tool' to relocate the retaining (belt) clip for 'drop point' concealed carry (with a spiral bungie 'Ranger Dummy Chord' leash) - and the Kershaw 'Diamond Stick' packable sharpening tool. The partially serrated blade is a must for dealing with cardboard, packing materials, etc., such as military containers. You can blacken the G- 10 scales with a Sharpie if need be or select the 'Combat Folder' option in black. But the green scales are worth a second thought as you may need to hide the knife in garden horticulture for tactical reasons. This is only one of two knives both Zero Tolerance, that feature the hex-head 'adjustable spring' assist; (the smaller 0350 model uses a Torx-style pivot)...
Awesome
One word ... Awesome.....that is how I would describe the ZT0301ST.
This is a partially serrated blade. I love it so much I have ordered another ZT wihtout the partially serrated blade.

I placed my order shortly before christmas and was really suprised to received it on christmas eve all the way out here in Malaysia. When I opened the package and held it in my hand there is no other better feel, the knife fits like a glove in any hand with a really solid feel to it. I've been looking for a repalcement knife for a while and went to many shops and nothing felt or looked good. The ZT is nice and streamline which makes it conceal so well.

As I siad I love it so much I ordered the ZT0301. (unserrated)

Boyt Harness Signature Series Scoped Rifle Case with Pocket (Khaki, 46-Inch)

Not as they used to be!!
I have a Boyt case I bought years ago (10?) the material, leather are a lower grade on this new one. The most disappointing feature is the zipper on this new case. It is almost impossible to zip from one end. The zipper works ok from the opposite end but is a lower quality zipper than on my older case. If it wasent such a pain I would send it back and look/see at a local shop and not buy on Amazon unseen.
Boyt Case
Appears very well made, but the Zipper is VERY difficult to close, would expect a better quality Zipper given its Premium Price . . .
Disappointed
If I had known this was made in China,I never would have even looked at it.I thought it was american made. Cheap Zipper that doesn't want to zip.Its China JUNK,with american price.I will not buy from this co. again.

Bianchi 111 Cyclone Holster Fits Ruger Redhawk 44 7 1/2In (Right Hand)

didn't fit
I got the holster, and tried to fit my Ruger redhawk .44 mag in to it I almost could not get it back out. I soaked it in hot water and that loosened it a little, but not a lot. It looks nice but still is not right.
Almost a custom holster
This was purchased to fit my Dan Wesson 744 heavy barreled .44 because the Bianchi website lists the DW .44mag/7.5" as fitting the #111 holster.

It was way too tight. Although it states it fits Dan Wesson .44s I think that must mean the older, non-heavy weight barrels without the underlug.

After wetting down the insides with a few ounces of 50/50 isopropyl alcohol and water and wrapping the weapon in plastic wrap and a sock and holstering it for a few days it fits like it was hand made for it!

Very nicely made, like all my other Bianchi holsters.
great product...
It was very very nice and great looks just what I expected out of bianchis leather products and holsters.. Thanks
