Spyderco Tenacious G-10 Combo Blk

All-Black Functional Beauty
This knife, completely manufactured in China, is wholly black - the blade, handle scales, pocketclip, screws, even the linerlock and internal liners of the G10 scales - with no part or piece uncoated. Only the Spyderco bugs on the blade and clip are silver, along with the legends at the rear of the blade, are highlighted and outstanding by their lack of the black colouration/coating. Against black uniform pants or jeans of that colour, this knife all but disappears, being noticed by only the sharpest eyed observer, thus being less socially objectionable when carried out in ' gentle ' company and situations. The pocketclip can be arranged for tip-up, tip-down, right- or left-hand carry, but the linerlock can be manipulated singlehanded successfully only with the right hand, as the left handed operator may well cut a finger to some degree if trying to close this knife only with that hand. A small matter to some, but it needs to be mentioned as this may be a deal breaker to others ( but...
excellent piece for the price
I read lots of reviews and info on knife forums all over the net
and came up with this one for an every day carry folding. More than pleased with
what I got for what I paid. Super sharp right out of the box.
One hand opening is a snap. Very comfortable in my hand. I'm a lefty
and loved that I could change the location of the clip as needed.
The all black looks way cool also.
I'd buy this one again in a snap if I lost mine but hope I never do.
(Yes I'm a girl and carry a knife daily.)
Spyderco never fails to impress.
This is another great knife! It's light and feels well constructed. I would buy this knife again. This knife is my 3rd spyderco and won't be my last!

Gerber 31-001159 Myth Field Dress Kit Includes Pro Gut Hook Knife, Compact Fixed Blade, and Piggyback-Style Sheath with Sharpener

Nice Field Dress Kit...take a look at the video

Great set!
Perfect set! Bought as a gift and plan on getting my own. Blades arrived sharp as is normal for Gerber. Compact and lightweight. I do not know about sharpener because we did not need it, blades kept a good edge after use. You will not be disappointed.
Gerber did it again
I love these little knives. They are true Gerber quality as well as lite, comfortable, and very handy. The sharpener at the bottom of the sheath makes it the handiest I have incountered.

Magpul Art of Precision Rifle DVD (Set of 5)

If you do ANY long range shooting GET THIS VIDEO
The only reason I rated it 5 stars is because there is no 6 star rating. I now realize I never understod long range shooting. This is the gold standard for long range shooting instruction. I have this whole series - all are good and all are fun to watch!
If You Buy Nothing Else For Your Rifle, Buy This.... (TEN Stars)
...Because after watching this five disc set, you will never think about your skills with a rifle the same again. BAR NONE the most fantastic lessons on proper setup and technique out there for long shooting. Learn everything from position to setup, zeroing with an unknown setup, all filmed live on an incredible range.

Just to make a point the instructor has the four students remove their scopes and "pass them to the right" to the next guy and mount them up - crazy! Then in two shots he has everyone right on at 300-600 yards. I cannot say enough good things about this course.

If there was a way to give 10 Stars I would have done it. DO IT! BUY IT! After you watch all 5 discs, come share!
Long Range Shooter beware!
Magpul is always pushing the envelope with their products and services. Everything you think you know as a long range shooter is put to the test from range, wind, humidity and even Coriolis effect. I can’t wait to take some of the things I have seen and learned on this film to the range and test them out.

Millett Remington 700 Right Hand Short Action Picatinny Rail, Matte

Not Bad
I had just recently bought this rail for my Remington 700 Varmint SF, .223, and so far I have been really pleased. The build quality is great, it looks and feels very solid, and not to mention it looks bada**. It also came with the tool to attach the rail to the gun as well, which was one less thing I had to worry about. I plan to buy another one of these rails in the future, when I have saved enough money for another Remington 700, perhaps in .308.
Decent Rail, thats all
It looks ok, the finish is a bit shiny, but looks well machined. The holes fit precisely over the plug screws of the 700 sps tactical receiver.

However, mine did NOT come with any screws, let alone a tool for mounting as mentioned by the previous reviewer.

I'm not sure if this is an issue with Amazon or the Supplier at this time. If it had come with 'all required hardware for mounting' as stated on the package, I might have given it another stars.
Nice rail but where's the screws?
Love the rail but I'm not sure why they didn't include screws. This was not just a packing fowl up either... There was only room in the package for the rail itself - to have added screws there would have been a place for them in the fitted plastic package. It took me a visit to three separate gun shops to find the screws and to get them I had to buy an additional scope mount.

Crimson Trace Laserguard for Glock 19/26/36 (Black)

crimson trace laserguard for baby glocks
this thing is amazing! it fits onto the gun very securely. its very simple to attach. the laser is very bright. the laserguard is designed to fit most holsters without modification to the holster. unlike the laserGRIP, the laserGUARD does not make the firearm thicker. i wouldnt have bought it if it added thickness, being that its a ccw. glocks are pretty thick as it is and as a ccw i couldnt afford for the firearm to be thicker.

also its the first crimson trace laser(to the best of my knowledge) to have a master on/off so you can train with your irons. it also has elevation and windage adjustments that are very precise. it comes from the factory sighted in at 50ft(roughly 18 and a half yards or so).

the only thing is, the touchpad on the grip might look or feel a tad uncomfortable at first, but you really dont notice it after a couple days. besides, you dont carry a gun for comfort, you carry it to get the job done(if forced to do so). i would squeeze a ball of...
Best Mod yet for my Glock.
The crimson trace installed easily, and was easy to calibrate with the included tools. It doesn't add much weight, and the Laser is... simply awesome.

Buck n Does @ amazon is the place to order from as well... $65 less than list, and fast shipping.
CT Laserguard on Glock 26 Gen 4
Ignore the box label that states "Generation 3 Only"... installs beautifully on a Glock 26 Gen 4 pistol... couldn't be better.

Green Pistol Laser Sight

AWESOME...
Well worth the money, can't tell a difference from one I have that I spent couple hundred more... its bright enough to actually illuminate surroundings at night, put green dot on house 400 yards away(not on gun) and can be seen well in daylight at 30 yards... minor negative is 4 button batteries and not normal size batteries like A123, or AAA, but tested a set of batteries and stayed bright for half-hour and stayed lit for well over an hour... After first 100 rounds haven't needed any adjustments, stayed as true as first shot... I purchased 2, one is on pistol with on/off switch, one is on rifle with pressure switch mounted, and both just flat-out look awesome... Highly recommended!!!!
Okay for the price ...
The switch is not so easy to use, nor does the quality of the entire package seem high, but then at this price, it's about what you should expect...

All questions were answered. Quick reply. No doubt if something is wrong with the product, they will take care of it.

BARSKA Blackhawk 8x42 Waterproof Binocular

Yikes! 20 feet close focus
OK ... sorry for the 3 stars, but I just wanted to point out that these binoculars have a whopping 20 feet close focus distance. That's about the worst I've seen. For example, the Eagle Optics Denali 8x42 Roof Prism Binocular have a close focus of 7 feet. People new to binoculars often don't think about close focus, but it's highly desirable. For example, one may be looking at a bird in bush or tree and step closer to get a better look. At 20 feet, you may have to actually step back. Also, for younger kids, they like to look at objects closer to get used to using binoculars for the first time. Sometimes it's useful to look at insects, snakes, etc. that aren't 100 feel away but more like 10-20 feet. I just wanted to make those aware of close focus, so you can make your own educated decision.
Excellent Value
I just returned from the Amazon where I took these Barska knowing that I would put their 'waterproof' to the test. After a month of use there was never a problem with moisture. Optically, these binoculars are very good. Other in my group had more expensive binoculars (Nikon, Bushnell etc.) and we passed each other's around. The Barska were as good or better than the others. They are also fairly rugged. They can take a drop. If there is a negative, it is with design for the neck strap and the cheap strap that comes with the set. It sucks. The strap interferes with your hand placement. Outside of that, and especially considering the cost, I strongly recommended these binoculars. 4.5 stars.
Tremendous value...up to a point
These binoculars are a fantastic bargain. They are solid and well made. The lenses are very bright and the focus wheel and main hinge operate smoothly and precisely. I started shopping for a set of binoculars after using a set of Leupold Cascades that were provided by the Marine Corps for the use of students in the Combat Hunter training program. The Leupolds were very impressive and as I shopped for a comparable set of binoculars I found the Barska Blackhawk to a be comparable in almost every feature. Though they use a different prism the view from the Blackhawk is indistinguishable from the more expensive Leupolds. I don't have experience with high end binoculars such as Zeiss or Leicas but the Barskas leave no reason for me to be curious about spending an additional $1000.

Update: I am lowering my rating to thre stars because the hinge broke with only a modest concussion. After owning these for a couple of years they broke during routine use. Until this...

Truglo Red-Dot 42Mmx2 Sight, Black

Not the best
First, this is NOT the product pictured. The real scope is much bigger and longer. I've been using this scope on a hunting shotgun for about two years, it's held up so far. The 2x magnification is great for ranged shots, but means that you'll get parallax like any regular scope(can't shot with both eyes open). Also your field of vision is greatly limited because of the magnification. Be sure you really want a 2x scope and not a regular dot sight before getting this.
Truglo's 2x42 is perfect for a "Scout Rifle"
I found this while perusing for a scope at my local Cabela's. I needed a red-dot scope with a small MOA, unlimited eye relief, with a large aperture, that didn't cost an arm and a leg. I found all five qualities easily fulfilled in their 2x42 red dot scope, and was able to turn my Ruger Mini-14 into the scout rifle I wanted.

The scope has a 1-12 power setting, for shooting under dim lighting or on bright sunny days. It has front/rear flip-up covers to protect its huge 42mm lense, is easily adjustable for windage/elevation, and really holds its zero. Even after multipe trips to the range and being tossed in and out of its case, I never have to re-zero it. I have also accidently left the scope "ON" after playing with it, and it has proven to last at least 5 days straight while on the 2x brightness setting. To me that is remarkable.

The scope is built rock solid and should last for a looong time.

In short, 5 stars, even with the parallax error...
Just what I wanted
I was looking for a Red Dot sight for my 22 pistol and I found that the Truglo is a perfect match. Well made and solid, full of features and a great price. Well worth it.

Gerber 22-41629 LMF II Infantry Knife, Black

Quality Piece
I bought this knife looking for a solid all around hunting/survival/perhaps fishing knife. It has a good heft, its well made. I like its variety of features (serrated/straight blade, holes to lash onto spear, pointy butt end for breaking glass, flat portion on butt for use as hammer, sharpener in case) but I don't like how difficult it is to unsheath. It is held into the sheath too tightly, and the rubber drags on the way out, but otherwise, a nice knife.
This knife will outlast humanity
This is more knife for your buck than you'd expect.
I can use this as an axe, hammer or knife. It's essentially one very thick blade with a rubber coated tang, which like the blade is thick and heavy. This blade has outperformed every expectation I have for a blade. It's simple yet very effective. One of the key aspects of it that I really like is the 3 holes for attaching the knife to branch which makes it a spear. To use this as a hammer just rest the sharp edge of the blade on the wood intended to cut and hit the back of the blade with a heavy piece of wood.
I can stab right through sheet metal with this thing and it holds it's edge
I can cut through cinderblocks without any notable damage, holds edge fairly well
The grip is formed by a rubber coating over the tang. The rubber is extremely grippy, I love it.
Due to it's weight (which I actually love about it) I can easily drive the knife into hardwood when thrown, also because of the shape of the handle it...
Awesome Knife
I have used this knife for actual "survival" camping and this thing performed perfectly. I was able to swath a 1.25 mile path through intermediately dense woods with no failure. The built-in knife sharpener is incredibly handy when you're in the middle of nowhere and need to a sharp blade.

Awesome product for the price.

Zhumell 20x80 SuperGiant Binoculars

Great! - and Great warranty
I love these things. What a great piece of equipment for the price. I got these for moongazing and ship watching at the coast. They are great. Using these binoculars, I can see ships off the coast very clearly- even see people on the decks. W/o the glasses- I can barely see the ship itself. It lets in an enormous amount of light. A full moon is almost too bright to look at. It allows you to see very clearly at dusk and at night. Star clusters that are barely visable by eye become very bright and clear with these binoculars. They are heavy and hard to hold steady,so a tripod is a must for any detailed watching. You will not be disappointed.-MORE-- I knocked them off my tripod one evening and busted the eyepieces- boxed them up and sent them back to Zhumell w/ return postage (per their warranty) and received a brand new set within 7 days. No questions- no run around. Nice job Zhumell - I am a customer from now on.
Very pleased
I am amazed with the power, field of view, and quality of these binoculars. I went to a high point in my city, and scoped it out. It's like having 2 spotting scopes linked together. I could see things across the valley that I had no clue about with my naked eyes, and the moon looks like it does in those NASA photo's. The binoculars come in a nice soft case with a pocket for extra storage, they have a rubber coating over the exterior, rubber lens covers, a nice steel adjustable tripod mount, and right eye diopter adjustment. You can hold them with your hands, but I ordered a monopod, and it really helps with the stability and makes the viewing experience much more stable and enjoyable. I have had no problems with double imaging, as a matter of fact, one of the main reasons I chose this brand was for the metal rod in the center that holds both sides in alignment, it seemed somewhat necessary to me considering the size and power of the instrument. Get you some!
OK as a monocular, not a binocular
I could not get these to form a single image of a star or planet because the two tubes are not exactly parallel. I do not know whether that was a quality control issue of the pair I had, or the overall quality specification is so poor that misalignment is typical. Mine went back. A properly aligned pair would be a considerable bargain. If you buy these, buy them from a place with a good return policy. Keep the packaging and invoice.

DeLorme AE-008372-201 Earthmate PN-60w with Topo North America and Map Pack

Terrible. Poorly designed and poor user interface.
I don't write many reviews so this won't be pretty. But I had to chime in on my experience with this product. When I first installed the batteries it wouldn't turn on at all. I removed and re-seated the batteries and was finally able to get it to work. The compass doesn't work at all. It does show direction of travel arrow, but the other arrow that is supposed to be the electronic compass doesn't even work. It showed up a few times, wasn't accurate and then disappear. During a large part of my trip I had no signal at all and many times I was on top of a mountain. We had an old (7 years) GPS with us and it had a signal the whole time and worked much better. Most of the time the GPS showed us at least 650 feet of the trail when we were standing right on it.

I might have been doing something wrong (I have used GPS's on many trips so I am not a novice), but the user manual was terrible. It only explains the basics and doesn't even do that very well. The screen keeps...
Excellent GPS once you get passed the learning curve
Like some of the reviews about the Delorme PN-60w, I can see where one might get a negative impression, at first use, the GPS doesn't seem intuative .....I must admit at first I was not impressed with this GPS. In fact, I bought the PN-60w with the SPOT communicator in late 2010 and it sat in the box most of the time. Once I began a real effort to learn the software that came with the GPS and got use to the PN-60w user GPS Interface, this GPS sprung to life! It's very accurate and the data layering features are awesome. Plenty of RAM and SD memory to put limitless maps on PN-60w compared to Garmin. So many features so little time. The fact that Delorme seems to keep adding new features via firmware upgrades is impressive even after two years this GPS is still tops in it's class. As far as battery usage. I easily get several days of usage of this GPS constantly running! The only drawback so far.... Delorme please port your software to the Mac world..... Please. Sure you can use...
Not user friendly
For sale or gift to someone I do not like.
Problems for the user
Very difficult to download maps.
Screen way to small for use
Very clunky menus
No 12v power supply. I live in Alaska and you do not have access to 110 out in the boonies to recharge
Eats AA batteries for snack when the rechargeable runs down. Rechargeable good for about 8 hours on power saving mode
Map support for out of US and Canada impossible to figure out or afford
I have the 60w with the Spot connect. The spot works great but the interface with the 60W is worse than the map downloading nitemare.
Does anyone make a GPS for offroad and hiking that is easy to use with topo and road maps for a ATV & Truck that I can deal with
This is not a low cost GPS but very expensive.

SOG Specialty Knives & Tools TF-11 Trident Tanto Digi Camo Knife, Black TiNi

Sog makes the best knives and this is no exception. Looked alot of places and most wanted almost 90 dollars. Well worth it
Worth every penny I've owned 2 tridents this one and an all black tanto. Both are great. I've used one for 6 months without it needing to be sharpened
Great tactical
Great looking and capable knife for tactical carry, different handle material options would be nice though...
Great Blade
The Blade has a beautiful finish and sheen. The profile and point angle is better than other similar coldsteel and CRKT tantos. Assisted open is smooth and arc lock is quick and easy. The paracord slot got caught on the lip of my pocket alot, but when the knife does make it in there the low ride clip is awesome. There is a bit of play when the blade is "locked" open. I would say it is 96% solid when locked open. I have had similar experiences with other arc-lock style knives that have polymer handles. The blades with steel handles (like the tomcat or vulcan) are always 100% solid locked open with no play what-so-ever. All-in-all it is a great blade and I am happy with the purchase!

Crimson Trace Taurus Millenium Pro Laserguard

Will not fit model 145 (.45 Cal)
I found out the hard way, this model will not fit the Taurus Mellininum Pro 145 (.45 Cal)
However, it seems to be a very good design. I was told it will fit all the other models.
Didn't fit my gun
My Taurus Millenium is not the pro model, so this site didn't fit. Not Sellers problem, mine. I can't find any to fit my gun.
Barry
My wife shoots a 9mm Millenium Pro the has the Figure 8 (Dot on top of Dot) fixed sites which are very difficult for her to find consistent accuracy. The Crimson Trace Pro Laserguard has solved her issues. It was very easy for her to install and looks like it is an integral piece of her MP Gun! If you have this Gun with the "Dot on Top of Dot" type site this is a very good solution for improving your Shooting accuracy.

NcStar 3-9X42E Red Illuminated Compact Scope/Ruby Lens (SEC3942R)

Nice BB gun scope, maybe.
Initially, this scope feels heavy, like maybe it's of some quality. I mounted this scope on my AR-15, and while looking around my yard with it, it seems good enough -let's face it, it's inexpensive so how good does it have to be?

I took it out on it's maiden hunting trip, hunting for small game in an open valley. I immediately realized that the optics on this scope were junk, there was a blur, or some sort of warp in the lense that wouldn't go away no matter how much tweaking or adjusting. It was like aiming the thing through a glass of water and then down-range. Also, the "spiffy illuminated reticle" has HUGE crosshairs. Aiming at a rabbit or a gopher at any distance is a joke because the massive, thick crosshairs end up covering what your aiming at. Sure they light up just fine, different levels too, but they're just too thick to be usefull.

Overall, the scope is heavy, the reticle lights well, but I doubt any sniper would use it with any attempt at...
Good scope for a good price
This may not be the best scope I have ever purchased, but it has gotten more use then any other. It gives nice clear images, holds it's settings, and is easy to adjust when needed. The clear, flip up covers make it easy to get off a quick shot. I would recommend this to someone on a budget, or even if you have a lot of money to burn, you will not be disappointed.
Good but not great
The scope is pretty much what you pay for. The worst part are the dials, they are rather cumbersome, but once I got mine zeroed in on my Bushmaster 7.62 I had no problems whatsoever. As for the guy who says the scope has paralax, he needs to flip up the plastic covers, its crystal clear when they're out of the way. The lighted crosshairs are also not of any importance when youre actually shooting, black is best. Really it is a great scope for the money.

Benchmade Bone Collector Axis Folding Knife with Green/Black G10 Handle

Another Winner from Benchmade
My third Benchmade, this one is the best so far.. I'd give this knife a solid 10 but 5 stars is the max. Out of the box this awesome mini unit will go to town on any task. Machining on the D2 blade is nothing short of presision workmanship, the blade is a sustantial piece of steel made in the USA and the locking cam will keep the blade secure until you fold it in. The handles are wonderfully tapered to provide one of the best grips I have encountered. On the the thumb hole - leave it alone. The non-bevel provides (IMO) perfect thumb access, traction and comfort when it comes time to open the blade - tapering the hole whould only serve to lessen grip ability. And for looks, the mossy green & black carving on the handle makes this one of the baddest looking knives out there.
Good knife, but
This is a very sturdy, rugged knife. My only gripe is that the relief edge on the D2 blade is REALLY shallow. The reason I give this otherwise outstanding knife 4 stars is that it is very difficult (for me, at least using a spyderco tri-angle sharpmaker) to keep a nice sharp edge that lasts on it. I do not have this problem on my other knives that have longer relief edges. Otherwise, this is a beautiful knife with an outstandingly cool locking mechanism. It's very fun to handle.
Best Benchmade I own!!
I own a Griptilian, a Rift and the Infidel and this is my new favorite Benchmade knife of all. The handle is thick and has a perfect grip for anyone with large hands like myself. I love the Spyderco style hole in the blade as it makes it much easier to open rapidly. THis is one of the cheaper benchmades but I guarentee the quality is just as good as the overpriced Infidel.

Benchmade 530 Pardue Design Knife

My favorite knife of many...too many
Knife Review:

I own a lot of knives. Let me list some: Recon Tanto, Microtech Scarab, Benchmade Butterfly, Sypderco Endura, Swamp Rat, Gerber Hunter, CRKT Tanto, etc... Now of all these knives (which is just a off the top of my head sample of what I own)...this is my favorite one. Here's why:

If I was going to live in a land like Jurassic Park out in the wild where I need a strong knife to defend myself with perhaps...but mostly to do heavy and light tasks with and have it last forever, I would want my Swamp Rat.

If I was going to go hiking on a long day hike where I might need a knife, I would take the Gerber Hunter.

If I had to impress some younger person I would bring the Butterfly.

If I had to fight an intruder in my house I would use the CRKT Tanto (over the Recon Tanto because of the better balance and skull crusher pommel)

If I had to take a knife out on the town, thinking I might run into trouble, and then have...
Excellent little pocket knife
I was looking for a replacement for my older Gerber knife, which has been a pretty dependable tool but was always a bit too thick, more than a little cumbersome and a tad heavy for me to use as a personal carry blade on a daily basis. Even though I preferred having another knife with a true opening assist function, I ultimated narrowed my choices to two knives that emphasized compactness, thinness and lightness above all else, not to mention choosing models that worked well with my smaller hands. This Benchmade 530 Pardue was one finalist, the other was a SOG Flash II which was roughly twenty bucks cheaper. I really liked how the Flash II felt in hand, but I couldn't get over the amount of wobble the blade had at its hinge point. In the end I went with the old adage "you get what you pay for" and bought the Benchmade...and I haven't regretted the decision one bit.

This Mel Pardue design opens easily with a flick of both thumb and wrist, and closes just as easily with a...
Super light! Your go-to sports knife...you'll forget it's on you!
First off...this review is for the 530S (S for partially serrated.)

I love this knife. Why you ask? What makes it unique or different from other folders or lock-backs? Here we go:

1. It is really light. I wear it in my nylon running shorts (waistband) and I don't even notice it. Actual weight on my scale is 1.94 oz (54.9 g.)

2. No other knife this light has such a proven and reliable locking mechanism, the Axis lock which Benchmade owns the patent to. It is among the strongest locking mechanisms made, and it's ambidextrous.

3. For such a lightweight knife, it has a very robust blade...a full 3.25 inches! I suppose it's on the thin side for Benchmade, but not so thin as to flex or make me wish it were thicker.

4. This knife is really thin (0.37 inches!) The handle is very slim (which helps it go unnoticed while wearing it,) but not too slim as to make it poorly functioning. The handle is made of a very tough plastic (they call it...

AIM Sports 2.5 - 10x40 mm Laser Scope

Exactly what I expected - I like it (and the laser does adjust....)
I had a chance to check this scope out at a gun show before i purchased it. Bought this one and of course got exactly what I expected. The Laser is definitely adjustable. The Hand-Jam method i dont suggest however. the way that i do it is by putting the allen wrench (that im pretty sure comes with it.....) into the holes that you can clearly see in the pictured item... and turning. One on the side. One on the top. You will have to decide at what distance that you want the laser to be exactly on target because of the fact that it mounted slightly left. Therefore, if you are looking at something really close, the laser dot will be more to the left of your crosshair. Likewise, while aiming at something further it will continue to go further to the right of the crosshair. No real sense in adjusting it every time because 90% of the reason it's there is to look cool - 8% for acquiring a target quickly/easily - and 2% cat toy. percentages may be off a bit, but I think that's pretty...
Good Compact Optic
I was nervous buying an optic sight unseen, however this one performed perfect. I sighted it in at 100yds at 10x. I was able to see where I was hitting with the .223. Turning to 2.5x you can see close range targets as close as 10ft clearly, but at that range the laser is a better option. The quick detatch mount held tight even after some rapid fire. I have tried the laser in different lighting conditions, and it really shines in low light and indoors. I would recommend this optic as a good tactical option, as it is compact and versatile.
Good Sight for the money.
Ok so I picked up this sight for my AR-15. First off it arrived very quickly no issues there. There isn't much of an instruction manual with it so you better have an idea on what your doing in regards to adjustments and set up "If you cant figure out how to attach it you need to turn your weapon in just saying." The internal led for the cross hairs was great with several illumination levels worked well in sunny weather overcast and dark conditions.. The external laser dot how ever has some issues. After about 3 rounds it was off center. After about 8 rounds it was clean off the target. I used the Allen wrench that was supplied to adjust it back several times. Taking in to account that if your target distance changes it will be off automatically due to its placement at the side. But sighting in at 100 yards and continually shooting from there it still was off target after about 8 rounds. Over all put this on a kids 22 and it should be fine. For an AR-15 I wouldn't bother with...

Hogue New Xr3 Blackhawk/Vaquero Ivory Polymer Cowboy Panels

Ruger New Vaqureo white grips
I never usually spend the time to leave feedback but I feel I should concerning these grips. If you have a Ruger New Vaqureo modle, these grips will fit better than the black ones that came with your gun. These grips will not fit the old Vaqureo as stated in the discription. I have changed grips on several guns over the years and have never had any fit this good, they are purfect. There is no cutting or triming needed.
Vaquero faux-ivory grips
These grips went onto my new Vaquero almost perfectly! They are a little wider than the original grips, which I really like. My only disappointments are that they were too smooth and required a little filing on a couple of the edges to match my gun exactly. A little filing and rubbing with steel wool made this perfectionist happy. They are beautiful, a great value and required no fitting to install. The minor adjustments were only needed to satisfy my individual preferences, and were simple. Hogue came through again!
Polymer ivory grips
Received the grips for my new mod vaquero tried them on, the fit was almost perfect the right side hangs past the back strap just a fraction but its better than being to small. Overall very satisfied with the grips. The only real gripe is that hogue does not tell you how to polish the grip after fitting, I don't want to stain the grip using the wrong buffing polish.

Glock Pistol 3 Dot Front And Novak Rear Night Sight Set

Trijicon performance: a winner once again
Definitely for the pistol shooter who likes the 3-dot sighting system. Bought and installed this model GL11 NS on a Gen3 G17 RTF2. Typical Trijicon quality; in other words it's the usual high standard one comes to expect from the company's Bright & Tough tritium sights. This is my first set with the Novak-style rear; after a few hundred rounds I've begun to prefer these over the less pricey and more common GL01 model, at least for range use. The dots on the GL11's Novak-style rear sights are spaced closer together than those on the GL01, making for me the task of acquiring the front sight and sighting it on target a bit more challenging, at least initially. But as I've been working on my draw I've gotten my muscle memory to the point that I can acquire the 17's sight picture quickly. The narrow sight window also means that there's a bit less estimating when it comes to centering the front sight dot between the two rear dots (presuming that the sights are aligned properly with the axis...
Novak/Trijicon Glock sights
Good price on the sights from Amazon. Nice sights. Not as bright as SIG sights, but good. Front sight a breeze to install. Did not come with any blue loctite so you will need to purchase some for the front screw. Rear sight took a lot of patience. Had to spend some time slowly filing the rear sight to get it to fit. Very tight. If you don't have a sight pusher and ability to fit a sight yourself, you will need to get a gunsmith to install it. This was on a new Glock 30SF.
Great night sites for carry
These are great sights, not too bright and novak style to prevent snares on clothing when concealing. One of the best improvements I've made to my Glock.

Wusthof Big Game Folding Blade Hunting Knife

Great Hunting Knife!
Wusthof is know for their great knives and this one is No Exception! Excellent knif and great price. I'll probably buy more for family at Christmas.
Nice and Durable
Although I've only had this knife about four months, I can attest to the durability. The knife came with a nice holder (with snap). It is a very snug fit.

The knife has been used to cut fishing line and several other fishing obstacles. It is a perfect fit for just about any size hand.
Good, sturdy and ready to use
I lost my knife and needed a replacement and saw this Wusthof and it had similarities to my last knife, which I loved. I am not a hunter but my extracurricular activities have given me many opportunities to need a good, sturdy knife. The first few times I closed this Wusthof hunting knife, it was a bit tough, but after 3 or 4 times it now glides like butter. I like the weight, some I had looked at felt to heavy or bulky. The knife hacks through whatever bush or limbs are in my way, not very big mind you. This isn't the Amazon, rather Southern IL (Grafton area IL). A friend had to cut some tubing on his bike and his sad little knife was not doing the job, so I let him borrow mine. When he was done, he threatened to keep it. He said I could have his. Ha, I think naught!

The case, as much as this knife costs, one would think Wusthof would include a less than ideal case. The case is very stiff and has no give. The case sits oddly on my belt and it rubs the lower part of my...

BARSKA 6-24x50 AO Varmint Mil-Dot Riflescope

Great Budget Scope
APPEARANCE: I purchased this scope for a Saiga 223, which it compliments quite lovely. The finish is actually a matte, though the picture here makes it look glossy. This scope does not come with rings, though that's fine with me as it did not advertise so, and usually scopes don't anyway.

FUNCTIONALITY: The ability to adjust focus and zero and all that is great on this scope. Easy to use and full of adjusting (if you're OCD about your settings like me). It comes with two clear lens covers that have a mild tint that brings out the light in a more color contrasted way. Zoom works excellent and is smooth to operate.

DELIVERY ON PROMISES: This scope loses on star here because it's ability to take in light is good, but not great. I can see well at dusk or in a rain storm, but it has a hard time adjusting to a good focus when it's even darker, like a moonlit night. It can focus pretty well, but not crystal clear at maximum zoom in the dark.

Overall, I still...
Recoil is this scopes worst enemy!
I want to start this review with the positives. I liked the range and clarity, for the price. The turrets are crisp and the clicks are bang on. With a little math I put the second shot on the bulls-eye at the indoor range, and with the scarcity and the price of ammo that is as good as it gets. Now for where things started to go south. I mounted this scope on my bolt action 7mm Rem. Mag. which is a bit of a beast when it comes to recoil, this scope just would not hold zero at 100 yards. I chased my tail for about 10-12 shots before I gave up, with a box of 20 rounds averaging $35 I was pretty upset wasting that many rounds just to take the scope off and put it on my Marlin Model 60. I have 4 Barska scopes and they all have met or exceeded my expectations. It is partially my fault, I should have had more respect for the recoil dealt by my rifle. To sum it all up, if you are planning to mount this on any popular varminter rifle .22, .17, .204, .223, go for it it is a great scope...
not bad
scope is fairly clear until you get to the higher magnifications but for 79 bucks it is very hard to beat

BLACKHAWK! 3-Day Assault Back Pack - Black

Tough pack
This bag is AWESOME!
I am hard on gear, and this bag holds up to everything that has been thrown at; dropped on; dragged over; and spilled on it!

It has traveled with me for about 8-9 months and it still looks new. The interior compartment can open up almost all the way to lie flat, so that you do not have to dig down blindly and "fish" for that one item that is all the way at the bottom. For its size, this pack will hold so much that you will be amazed. It is coated on the inside to be "water resistant", however I have had it outside in a long soaking rain and everything on the inside was bone dry!

I gave it four stars only for the fact that there is no Velcro to attach a name or anything else to the outside easily. All in all this is definitely a good pack to have and use.
blackhawk 72 hour bag
Overall a REALLY good product.

Pro's:
-airflow channels WORK
-hydration capatible up to 100oz
-comes with it's own lashing straps
-holds a TON of stuff
-compression straps help keep things tidy
-tough as nails (1000D cordura)
-no molle so you don't look like you're going into combat

Con's:
-ladder locks on the shoulder straps seem to slip a little. maybe a couple of cam buckles would do the trick.

Things to note:
-this thing is way bigger than it looks. it isn't exactly a ruck but it ain't a day pack either, you know?
-hydration sleeve works BEST with a BLACKHAWK bladder. others will work...but they don't fit as well. blackhawk bladders are available pretty cheap at cheaperthandirt.
-there aren't a lot of little pockets so if you're looking for a place to put your crayons, your lip balm, your pokemon cards, your make-up and your concealed carry piece this isn't your bag. i like getting the cheap-o...
Tough Bag, Good for light duty
I bought mine in early 2003, and its been trucking faultlessly ever since. I have gone over the front end of my bike & bicycle with it, gone to war with it, traveled with it, gone to school with it, ran with it, shopped with it, bicycled with it even slept with my head on it. It works, the Nylon is very very good. There are really only two downsides, one you cant really pack too much in it and expect it to feel good on your back, also you need to be the right height to get any good use out of the hip belt / support. This back pack is a pain for me @ 6'5 if I'm carrying a heavy load, its great for a few changes of clothes and some other incidentals, but going over 25lbs for me is asking too much in terms of comfort on extended / stressful outings.

Only has a couple holes in it with over 8 years of use, and that was from asphalt and a knife. The nylon does a great job holding its color and holding together.

Columbia Gallatin Range Wool Bib, Snow Camo, Medium

Awesome! Awesome! Awesome!
I searched and searched and researched, for a pair of camouflage wool hunting bibs. I mean I SEARCHED and RESEARCHED some more, scouring the big name outfitters looking for just the right ones. With all the choices available, it can become confusing and down right frustrating, not to mention very expensive, but I had my mind made up on wool. I had narrowed it down to a few when I came across the Gallatin Range Wool series. When I first saw them, it was on one of those big outfitters I mentioned for $150.00 which is not cheap, but by wool standards made me skeptical of the quality but almost EVERY review I read was positive, so I took a chance and boy am I glad I did!

First understand that the bibs are not 100% wool, but rather a wool blend, 70% wool. This makes for a VERY comfortable , non-itchy garment of, (in my humble opinion), very good quality. They come full length, unhemmed which I appreciated as I am 6'4", 220lbs. Make sure you read the sizing chart before...
Warm as Hell
Pulls on very easy over boots, even though no lower leg zippers. Pockets not the best could be easier to access.
Wool Bibs
Had them altered to for fit. I love them they are soft feel really warm for hunting in Colorado at a realy great price and fast shipping.

Bulldog 11.5 X 8 X 5.5-Inch Deluxe Digital Pistol Vault

Does the job.
Got this next to the bed. Be warned, it does not come with a a/c adaptor. Get yourself some rechargable AA's. Works as advertised to keep your piece in a safe place. The light inside is bright enough, especially in a dark room. I've had it a couple of months now without changing the original batteries I put in it. Recommended.
This is a good vault overall...
I like this vault a lot. As another reviewer said, it's slanted, which can be a bit of a pain for a guy with big hands trying to get a firearm out in the middle of the night, but so is the gunvault and every other version I've seen. Also, the buttons are stiffer than the gunvault model, and the other reviewer is correct that the gunvault's hand print style is a little easier to deal with, especially at night in the dark. Also, the gunvault has more possible combinations, as you can choose between 3 and 7 buttons, and each press can be any combination of all four buttons. The bulldog can only be one button at a time, and it HAS to be five presses total. This limits the total number of possible combinations as compared to the gunvault. Both seem to be well made. The bulldog is maybe a little more tightly constructed, but I don't think either would hold up to a determined thief with a crowbar. These are designed to keep loved ones from getting to your firearm and having an...
Good price but doesn't hold much
The battery compartment takes up a good portion of the safe, and comes with the wrong thumbscrews to hold it closed. This makes it useless for most applications. I can just hold a small handgun in there and the battery compartment. Also, since the compartment doesn't stay together (wrong screws), you better keep the key handy, so much for easy access.

Nikon Action 7-15x35 Zoom Binocular

Brand name binocular, superb optics, really great price!
I've owned several binoculars prior to this type, this is my 2nd Nikon, the first one being the regular Action 7X35. As with any Nikon optical product, the optics of these binoculars are superb. The Bak-4 High Index Prism optics offer sharp, detailed images with little or no distortion. And the sharpness is amazing. The optics enhances the images and with the 7-15x magnification, there is very little you cannot magnify. As with all binoculars that doesn't have image stabilization, you will have shaking at the highest magnification. Smart thing to do is use this with a tripod of which, this binocular is equipped with a slot to screw-in your tripod. Very handy if you want to extend magnification without getting dizzy in the process. The rubber armoring of pretty much solid, offering protection from the usual bumps and drops. It also comes with rubber caps to protect both the eyepiece and objective lenses from dusts and smudges. Also comes with its own case to store it when not in use...
Great compact binocular
Solidly built, compact size, a tad on the heavy side. Not fog nor water proof; the lens cover are not attached to the body, and may get lost once removed. Great image quality, smooth zoom operation. A great compact binocular.
Heavy, good optics and zoom
You buy 7x35's for better depth of field, so that you don't need to constantly refocus as objects move toward or away from you. These will do nicely, plus they have a good zoom to 15x if you need it.

The binoculars are on the heavy side, surprisingly so. Mine arrived with the left and right sides a little out of alignment, but my eyes can compensate after a second. The brightness was good for a 35mm objective lens. All-in-all, a good deal for the money.

Garmin nĂ¼vi 2250LT 3.5-Inch Portable GPS Navigator with Lifetime Traffic

Nice GPS - small display
This is a pretty good GPS for the money. I bought the small screen instead of widescreen because I wanted it to fit in a smaller space. This is fine for the map, but the keyboard is now not a QWERTY keyboard, and a lot fo the commands are harder to access. I'd recomend going widescreen.
Great, small GPS
Was looking for a small-sized GPS. It fits perfectly in the center console of our Prius. Even though we bought the built-in Toyota navigation system, it was a huge ($1100) mistake since you must be totally stopped in order to look up or change anything. Hence, a passenger can't look up a gas station while you're traveling without pulling over and stopping while you do. DO NOT buy a Toyota navigation system until they change this (and improve the overall interface).

As s result, we have had a Garmin in the car as well. Really good.

Very easy to use. This one has a very clean map presentation -- especially after an update to the system software. That update is freely available from their web site and it made a huge improvement.

Thinking about getting another of these for our other car, but might get a wide screen one since it can handle a wider display there.

Get this. You won't regret it.
does what I need, but small screen needs bigger fonts
I bought this because my nuvi 250 had run out of room to receive map updates. I travel a lot for work, often to locations that google or mapquest can't easily find. I needed to be able to update the maps for all of North America and still retain my saved favorites. All the reviews I read pointed me to a larger unit but because I travel with it, I wanted the smallest one possible. Now I see why the larger units are better. They've tried to squeeze more information across the top line of text, but they haven't increased that space or the font at all - if anything, it seems smaller - so it's much harder to see all the information when it's mounted on the dash or windshield. I was really excited when I was able to transfer my saved locations to the new unit and it's working just fine, but the squished up text across the top is a disappointment. I'd be willing to sacrifice a bit of map space in order to READ the text. For the record, my eyesight is just fine.

Walker's Game Ear Digital HD Power Hearing Enhancement Systemment

Started Great Poor Follow Up
I purchased two Game Ear HD for turkey hunting in the Virginia mountains. They worked great until the second time out this past spring when one would not work. I contacted Walkers and was directed to send the unit along with $59.95 to have the unit repaired. About a month after sending the unit along with everything that was included with the original purchase (Unit, ear plug, sound tube and adjusting tool) to the provided address I received the unit back. No ear plug, sound tube or adjusting tool were returned. I tried to contact Walkers but they will not reply to my e-mails. THEY TOTALLY FAIL AT COUSTEMER SERVICE.
Hear Here
My 4th Walker's Game ear, puchased because my oldest one just died out. As a hearing aid it is excellent, better than my fitted ones that cost me $2,700 for a pair. I appreciate the inclusion of a tiny screwdriver for adjusting the frequency response, I used the screwdriver on an older unit that buzzed, and the buzzing stopped, so I gained another useful hearing aid. The only drawback to this unit is that it has no on-off switch and rotary volume control like more expensive units. So to conserve the battery when I'm not using it, I have to open the battery compartment slightly and then close it in order to turn the unit back on. Sometimes this leads to battery falling out, or the door closing inadvertently which runs down the battery. But I knew this, and opted not to buy the more expensive model with the rotary volume and on-off wheel, I assume they still make these. Adjusting the volume correctly is a learning curve, and it gets erratic when the battery is low, but it's no worse a...
Walker's Game Ear Hearing Aid
If you already have earmolds you like, the Walker's Game Ear hearing aid is a great alternative to a $1500-$2500 hearing aid. The Digital HD Power has a power boost button, volume control, and frequency adjustment. If you don't need those features, there's an even much cheaper one, also available at Amazon.com. It turns on and off like many other hearing aids, by cracking open the battery access door. Power is instant on. Wind noise is lower than many other hearing aids. Wear then for a while like any other hearing aid to get used to the high frequency volume boost, if you don't normally hear high frequencies. Batteries (size 13) last a looong time, but there is no warning beep when they need to be replaced. Sure, there are a few more features in a [...] hearing aid - are they worth the difference in price?

Amazon.com has a good discount off off retail price, and free shipping if you select it.

Do-All Outdoors Gun Buggy

gun buggy
Amazon did an outstanding job getting the buggy delivered in less time than estimated. Took the gun buggy out last weekend to the local sporting clays and it worked great. When I had received it I put better tubes in the tires after reading other reviews about issues with them blowing out. Took the advice about using wasers on the gun racks to keep them tighter. Have used other buggies in the past and for the price it stands equal to others. The only thing I would like to see is if do all out doors would upgrade the tubes to a better grade. It would have really blown to have had tire issues the first time out. But had a good experience with the do all out doors gun buggy thank you amazon and do all out doors
Good basic cart.
The cart works well and assembles very easy. Easy to haul in my trunk. The long gun clamps don't hold tight. I will add some washers under the clamp nuts and make a brace to secure the guns better. Other models use a pin to keep the gun clamps aligned. Front tire went flat the first match but it doesn't carry much weight so I didn't notice until I went home. I will put a heavier inner tube in it. Small problems but overall I like it.
These oats have been through the horse once.
Do-All means 'fall apart'..... First, when the tires got up to about 10lbs pressure the tubes let go. wunnerful. Run to wal-mart for tubes, replace 'em all, load this thing up and it creaks and flexes like mad just in my gravel driveway. I'm now into it for three inner tubes and three bottles of slime (I use that in all off road stuff), so I'm just going to weld up a steel support frame and bolt it to this. If you're not into that level of DIY, stay far away.

Seriously, this is worth half what they are selling it for.

0 Stars to Amazon on this as well as they have no system to allow you to request replacement of defective parts (like the tubes). You either have to go to the manufacturer on your own or do what I did and buy 'em.

Night Owl NOCC3 Cyclops Compact Vision Monocular

Not bad for the price
This device enables you to see quite well at night, and costs a lot less than other options. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with it. That said, there are a couple of things you should know if you're going to buy one.

First, the optics are pretty poor. The objective lens (the one on the front) causes significant pincushion distortion, and focus is poor toward the edge of the field of view. I've actually never seen worse optics on anything that wasn't sold as a toy. The ocular lens (on the back) focuses on an electronic display element that looks dirty even when it's not. Although it's not intended for taking photographs, a better display would be nice.

Secondly, if your shipment arrives during the day your first inclination will be to try it out just to make sure it works. The manual, which you are unlikely to read, warns that turning the device on with the lens cap removed during the day can permanently damage the sensor and invalidate the warranty. Putting a warning on...
Compact, light and inexpensive
Generally, a thumbs up! I'm surprised at how small and light it is. Easily fits in your hand, and the behind-the-hand strap is ideal. For right handers only. On this model, the buttons should be back further, for use with index/middle. Too hard to press with little finger - you end up using your other hand to turn the illuminator and unit on/off. It's only 15,000 light amp. - sufficient, but at times I'm wishing for _a little_ more. But, for around ..., all the little things are easily forgivable. Caution: The infrared illuminator IS NOT invisible, as claimed! They say "invisible beam" - indeed, the BEAM is invisible. But, if you aim it at someone, they will see a VERY bright red light! You are not invisible with the illuminator ON! Tip: While your hand is there, you can partially cover the illuminator with your finger, controlling its light output. Handy for when you need just a little boost.
Neat product at an unbeatable price!
Well, do you get what you pay for?!

Nah, this product much is better than the price you pay!! Just compare it with other products in the market. (I did a lot of searching for a starter NV system and the NightOwl Cyclops seemed the most logical).

The pluses are the unbeatable price, performance, compactness, use of 1.5 AA batteries (handy), good optics and overall construction. With the IR-on it feels almost like day-light in pitch darkness (no problem lighting up your backyard - and your neighbour's too!). With the IR-off you can still see well with the 15,000x amplification with available moonlight. The padded case is compact and useful.

The minuses include poor manual (there's just a fold-out card) and average exterior finish (the battery compartment is a little flimsy and power buttons are not convenient).

Overall I would highly recommend it. You really don't lose much and you've a lot to gain!

Ultimate Arms Gear Black Hard Anodized Aluminum Drop In AR15 AR-15 M4 Carbine Rifle Quad 4-Weaver / Picatinny Rail Mount System Handguard With Extended Uninterrupted Bridge Top Rail

Awsome Product.
I installed the quad rail on my Windham Weaponry AR-15 MPC Model # R16M4A4T and it fits great, there was no problems with the install. I did notice that at the back of the rail where the extension over the delta ring it is about 1mm lower where is meets up with the upper. I took a straight edge and put it on top of the quad rail and the top of the upper receiver and the only place that was lower on the quad rail was at the delta ring so this won’t cause any issue with mounting some magpul sites on your AR-15. This is a great product and I would buy again.
UAG handguard
This hand guard does not go on like your stock handguard. It fits over the fwd. retainer and bolts on.
Very sturdy system but the ad seemed to imply it would go on like the factory part.
Sturdy but heavy.
Quality for a great price.....
Just as good as the Daniel Defense quad rail that's on my fathers AR15. I love the seamless look that the quad rail gives to the rifle.

Spyderco Native Lightweight Black Blade Model # C41PSBBK

High Quality, Design, and American Made
I have had this knife for a few months now. This is my first Spyderco and my impressions of the Native series and of Spyderco are very good as a result of this purchase. Locks up solidly with absolutely no blade play whatsoever. I love the black TiNi coating as it protects the blade and just looks cool. Yes, over time any blade coating will probably get scratched and work off in spots but so far mine still looks brand new with daily carry and a reasonably good amount of use. I really like how the blade is about 80% serrated. This leaves just enough plain edge for when I need a plain edge but most of it is serrated which I prefer for my uses. Most "combo" edges are at best 50% serrated and often even less than that so this is a big plus with the Spyderco Native and how they did it for my purposes. I really like the FRN handle which is molded as one piece. It is grippy with the way Spyderco put their design on it. Not going to be as grippy as say G-10 but I have found I don't...
Army Strong
I bought this knife before I deployed to Iraq in 2006. I had it for a total of 15 months (unfortunately I lost it when we were coming home). Being in the Army, I've had multiple knives including spring assisted and fully automatic (Benchmade, CRKT, SOG, etc..). Let me tell you, nothing compares to this knife. It not only stays razor sharp (and is easy to re-sharpen in just a few minutes) but its durability is unmatched. As one point of view, having knives in Iraq or Afghanistan takes a real toll on knives. The heat, dust, and constant sweating makes knives easy to dull, rust and simply fall apart. I had this in the bottom pocket of my uniform for all 15 months deployed and it never had a single malfunction or even a hint of rust or degradation. I had other knives and buddies with knives that would corrode like you've never seen under those conditions, but this knife stayed as good as new for the entire ride and I used it for everything. If you can buy one knife that you really want to...
Great tool
This is the sharpest knife I have ever pulled out of a box! It is extremely durable, well balanced and the S30V holds an edge better than anything made today. This is a great little knife that I highly recommend.
************
I wanted to give an update. I have been carrying this knife and using it daily for a few months now, and its durable. I cut up a bunch of old horse leads and halters with it, pretty tough stuff. Ran the wet stone over it a few times and its back razor sharp.

Muttluks All Weather Leather Sole and Toe 4.25-Inch to 4.75-Inch Dog Boots, X-Large, Yellow, Set of 4

Love this product!
My purchase was to replace the previous set my dog finally wore out after 6 years! I love this product. My dog has thick, curly hair and snow sticks to it - - forming ice balls on his paws and legs. His paws would get so cold it hurt him and we would need to go on shorter walks. Now he trucks through the snow like a champ. Please note it takes some practice for you and your dog, but once you get the hang of it, it is well worth it. I also love that it protects his feet from the road and sidewalk chemicals!
Won't fall off, excellent for longer haired dogs.
After trying several brands of doggy-shoes, paw protectors and even party balloons, I've always returned to these Muttluks as they are simply the most effective and won't fall off if properly secured.

Pros:
* My dog has longer curly hair and the socks on these hold the leg hair up and away making it both easier to put the boot on & off and also in holding the hair a bit higher up off the ground, reducing snowballs.
* The Velcro closure is easy to use, adjustable and is positioned to tighten/secure right above the dog's foot, at the bump of the ankle, to prevent the boot from falling off. Unlike other dog-footwear that just constricts the foot, this allows the dog's foot to move freely whilst keeping the boot secure.
* The Velcro straps are strong and durable (3M-brand) and have a very good reflective coating for visibility at night.
* The pull-on style of boot is easier for dogs to get used to than hard-soled boots.
* Muttluks are available in a...
love, fit, and stay on!
First I was kind of nervous about ordering these after reading the reviews of them not fitting nor staying in, but after I ordered them, they came in a mesh bag, which you can use to store and wash them in, and my dog was hopping around at first looking confused, but now he sits and lets me put them on after the first day, and they stay on all day, as he can even run and play in them. I ordered a medium for my 16 month old 65 lb pit bull.

Boker Plus Armed Forces Fixed Blade Knife

An accurate review
Boker. One of the TOP choices when it comes to Knife making IMO. I started with Soligen based German knives( as their craftsmanship is 2nd to NONE, handforged, full tang, even back in the 1940's), and ever since then have stuck with what works. Boker WORKS, and here is my review.

Boker plus. As with most knife companies nowadays, the demand for good survival knives has sky rocketed over the past 10 years, which has caused a MASS PRODUCTION of blades to be made. Mostly, nowadays they are made across seas, China, Japan, Kuwait, small 3rd world countries. Same with the Boker Plus line.

I will be the 1st to tell you, I 2nd guess anything coming from other countries that the product does not originate from. So when I heard that my Boker Plus was being made in China, I started doing my homework on the blade. Boker now has facilities built to be closer to the middle east, as the demand for their knives is worldwide.(Soldiers, ex military, survival, pathfinders, etc) But...

Crimson Trace Lasergrip for Smith and Wesson M and P, Black, Full Size

Great Laser Grip
Installs in seconds, easy to sight in. Looks like it's integrated into the gun and finish matches the rest of the gun. Laser is visible at an impressive distance in various lighting. If I buy another pistol I'll definitely buy another Crimson Trace Laser grip to go with it.

Mounted on full size Smith&Wesson M&P .40S&W Take a look at the pictures I've uploaded.
Absolutely perfect
Bought this for my new M&P 9mm. I love the CT grip on it. Like others say it's slightly larger than medium but below large grip. Honestly if you're used to the medium, this is very easy to get used to. The grip trigger for the laser is perfect. Turns on with your normal combat-style grip. On/off button is definitely nice as well and hard to turn on by just bumping it while gripping the pistol.
Fantastic Product
I can't say enough good about this laser. It is very accurate, its easy to put on and off of the gun and it comes on instictively. If you are looking for a laser for your M&P this is what what you want. Everything is 100% housed withn the grip, which comes on and off just as easily as your interchangable grips already do. I don't know one single thing to warn you about other than when you use it, you are going to want one for every M&P you have.
Happy Shootin.

Spyderco Salt I Serrated Edge H-1 Steel Knife

GREAT FOR FISHING
This knife does not rust in salt water, for real. COMES VERY SHARP, and stays that way.HAVE BEEN USING IT IN THE LAGOON AND TOMOKA RIVER IN FL,FOR A YEAR NOT A HINT OF COROSION, first knife thats survived that abuse, that i've owned, the only slight problem is its a little to lite wieght, but still wonderfull
Highly rust resistant & edge holding
Feel free to use this in the most caustic marine environment. We are commercial divers and we all dive with two emergency knives. The Spyderco H-1 series are one of our most favorite for it's ability to stay super sharp (for safety), incredibly rust-resilient, an untouchable low industry price for all this performance & the ability to remove it's clip to accept a 3/16" stainless steel shackle & snaphook to clip onto our harness.

My only wish is that it also had a safety lock like the SOG Flash II and a lot of other SOG knife models. (BTW: the SOG Flash II does not fair well around salt water nor easy to add a snaphook!)
Meets expectations
If you can carry only one knife, this is it. Small enough to forget you have it on you, yet big enough for even self defense. Sharp, maitenance free and a pleasure to use. In short, a great knife ;)

Simmons Prosport Truplex Reticle Adjustable Objective Riflescope, 6-18X50mm (Matte)

how tuff is it
who's A.Green? Anyway baught one of these 6x18 scopes through amazon in sprng 2011.Shipped and recieved quickly and in good shape.Scope is still nice and clear, holds zero. I mounted it on mossin nag' 91/30 and atfer 440rnd stood up well. However this 6x18x50 was such a vast improvment from 4x9 that came with new, rem'700 in.270cal.that well, the new baby gets the good stuff.Pretty cool setting new zero at 100yrds.Watching impact move with the clicks of good scope. It will just make a shooter smile. Anyway I will buy another simmons out of(kansas)U.S.A. as the need arises and I'll leave old favorite bushnell on the 22mag.For now anyway.
Nice and clear. Holds 0
I bought 2 of these awhile ago and over a year later it still holds zero. The clarity is good. Similar scopes in this 6-18x50 would sell for 3x as much.

I did send 1 back for a broken cross hair. I use this on a 223 rifle so I dont think it was related to recoil. Simmons sent me a new scope at no cost.

Nice looks and functions well. It was zero on out of the box. I never had a scope that on the first time mounted.
Great Scope
Mounting on my .30-.30. Works great. Stays actual after 50+ shots. Will be buying more of these for some of my other rifles.

United Cutlery GH5025 Gil Hibben Assault Tactical Knife with Sheath

great looking, nicely finished
Great looking knife, smooth clean finish...awesome shape and curve. Handle is
Slighlty lighter than in photos. Doesnt fit in my hand
The way i thought it would, finger front area of handle smaller than expected, with the rest of the handle
Longer than expected. I am still happy with it. Sheath has a horrible chemical smell that
Stunk up my house and car for weeks before it faded. Good knife for the price, wish it wasnt china made and sheath didnt smell...
Great Kmife, Sharp as hell!!
Another Classic knife from GH, good length, weight, and style. Comes rather sharp, and will Take Care of Business.....
This one is a Keeper, for sure!
I'm a big Gil Hibben Knife Fan!
I have (16) of his fixed blades in all price ranges... I love his style, quality, prices, and leather sheaths, what more can I say! This one is very cool, and came at a very surprising low price through Amazon. This is a great value on a knife I really like.

Best tools in my AR tool box!
If you work on AR15"s or just clean yours after every shooting you have got to have this equipment. I just finished building another AR15 last night and this made the job easy! I removed the front sight post and installed a gas block. I could not have completed this without the upper vise block!!!

you will love it!
Wouldn't use another

Perfect.
These items are a lot heavier than you might think. Great products. The fit is perfect and they are quality.

Columbia Men's Monarch Pass Jacket (Snow Wool Camo, Large)

Ok Wool
I purchased this jacket in size small for my wife. We hunt alot in colder climates here in ND. Its an ok wool, but I do think that there are better out there. Cabelas sells some great stuff and so does King of the Mountain. Its more money, but you get what you pay for....When I ordered this jacket for my wife, I paid $36.85 for the jacket on Amazon, after we got hers, I was going to get one for myself for about $49 in xl snow. However, Amazon had jumped the price to $119. I would probably consider another one for the $50 price range, but not at this price!
Great Jacket, runs large
Fantastic wool product by Columbia with the quality you would expect from them. I got the snow camo version.

I got a 2X and they do run large so you can wear layers underneath.

Hood and cuffs are lined, which I like as wool rubs my skin a little rough otherwise. The rest of the jacket is not lined.

Only minor complaint is I wish their were more pockets other than the lower 2 cargo pockets. I might have my mother-in-lay add an interior chest pocket.
My Husband is Happy Happy Happy :o)
He got his wool jacket yesterday, quite quickly I might add and he is like a kid in a candy store.... He is getting ready to go hunting and his wool clothing will be sure to keep him warm....I was impressed with the way it was put together with good strong stitching. It is a nice product...

Fobus Ankle RU101A RUGER SP101 / LCR RH ANKLE

Ruger SP101 Fobus Ankle Holster
This is my first Fobus product. I Bought this for a Ruger SP101 with 2 1/4 barrel "Snub". The construction is excellent, With the suede lined pad the comfort is also very good even when wearing it all day. Weapon is very secure and the retention can be adjusted with 1 screw.
Directions tell the buyer to wear it for a few hours "without" a weapon holstered for the first break in period. I would use a little Loctite on the adjustment screw once you get the retention where you feel comfortable with the draw of the weapon. This holster is a great value compared to other holsters that are made for the Ruger SP101. Fobus has a new customer.
Holster
I wanted a good concealable ankle holster for my Ruger LCR. I have several Fobus paddle holsters, and I really like them. I figured their ankle holster would be a good choice, however this thing is just too bulky. I tried to wear it under the loosest pair of jeans I own, and it still looked like I was trying to hide a football in my pants leg. The construction of the holster is superb, which is to be expected from any Fobus product. I'm a medium build guy, so maybe this holster would be easier to conceal for bigger fellas. Three stars for a well made product, just too hard to conceal.
Works very well.
I like to ankle carry when in my car. I have only found two ankle holsters I like, the Galco ankle glove, and this Fobus. The holster fit is perfect on the gun, a Ruger 357 magnum LCR. Not too tight, not too loose. Comfortable for all day wear, and no retention strap to get in the way.

First Alert 2118DF 1 Hour Fire Steel Safe with Digital Lock, 1.9 Cubic Foot, Gray

Pleased with my purchase
What impressed me the most about my purchase was the packaging. In so many past experiences with amazon I have had outer boxes literally destroyed by the UPS delivery people. This time a pleasant suprise - the shipment came through by FedEx and was drop-shipped as opposed to having amazon simply put the manufacturer's box into their own. Whoever prepared the safe for shipment should be given an extended coffee break, for the safe came through without harm or injury. The care and attention given to the packing and material used was most evident. Well done!

Now to the item itself: I found the interior shelf to be a rather skimpy and cheap accessory. It could have and should have been made sturdier. The four clips used for it to rest upon fall out easily whenever the shelf is pulled forward - a "natural" procedure when trying to get to the item(s) placed upon it. Not a very well thought out design.

The instructions for setting up the key code are lacking in...
A Few Important Notes
The safe is not able to be bolted to the floor. It must be screwed from the underside, to a table or similar.

You need both a key and the digital security code to open the safe, or the override key.

the inside of the safe is not wide or long enough for a sheet of letter size paper, its about 1/2 inch short.
Safe Arrived Dented
I might be generous by giving this product 3 stars. The safe had two dents (one in the upper corner and one on the upper right side edge of the safe). I did read on the safe that the safe had been drop-tested and fire-tested. The dents were disappointing for a $200+ item, but since the damage didn't appear too severe, I kept the product. The safe was the exact size that I wanted and the instructions were easy and clear how to program the safe, a plus. Unfortunately, only after receiving the safe, did I read the comments of other reviewers of other models of Honeywell safes, most complained of dents or worse damage to their safes.

AR-15 "Kitty Pink" Furniture Kit, TI-7, Fits MIL SPEC Tube Size by Tactical Intent

awesome
fit my wife's Smith & Wesson MP 15-22 like a glove....she was very happy. highly recommended. she was happy, therefore I was happy
Surprisingly good quality!
Ordered the pink 'furniture' kit for my wife's AR-15 build, as the Tapco kit is difficult or impossible to find. Very few other options easily available, and this looked nice in the picture so gave it a try. Happy I did.

The grip is standard style, just pink; I would prefer the Hogue soft rubber model instead. The Hogue free-float fore-end is a decent option as well, but would still need the pink butt stock...

The fore end in this kit is simply a set of rail covers (fairy hard pieces), so a good option if a quad rail is being used, but not usable without. The Hogue has no option for any fore end attachments, so quite different in aim.

The pink of these pieces is quite deep or bright, whereas the Tapco looked rather soft or

Assault Systems Discreet FN Case fits FN P90/PS90

Great bag for optics too.
I've got an EOTech 512 mounted on my PS90, and this bag leaves plenty of space for the sight, alongside a little pocket for extra batteries if they're needed.
Elite Survival Systems Covert Operations Case for FN P90 & PS90 Rifles
Fabulous! great buy...great product! recommend to any/everyone who needs this product!
I use this product in covert situations, does not draw attention, E-Z to carry, light, and very strong.
Easily holds 6 mags, plus gear... and weapon with no problem... Excellent!!!
PS90 Case
This case holds the PS90 well even with the addition of an aftermarket sight mounted on the flattop of the rifle.

Lee Precision Melter (Grey)

Lee Precision Melter
good item for melting lead for sinkers or bullets.
i recommend it to others it does the job well
i'm pleased with it as opposed to having to fire up a flame
Great product!
This is a great smelting pot, I have cast over 1500 rounds using this pot and I love it. I use a ladle to pour into my cast, I would recommend the larger pot with the pouring spout on the bottom, but this pot is inexpensive and solid for the job if you don't mind manually pouring.
Lee Precision Lead Melter - GOOD
Nice melter, good heat control, good capacity. Very pleased with this product. In use for over year with no problems whatever. Would recommend!

Spyderco Endura 4 Combination Edge Knife, Foliage Green

Great EDC Knife
This is my all-time favorite everyday-carry knife. The pocket clip is well designed, can be moved to either end of either side of the handle or removed all together. The handle has great ergonomics and feels like a natural extension of your hand when used either in a regular or reversed grip. The knife is lightweight enough that you forget that it is in your pocket but not so light that it feels like a toy. The blade steel is an excellent VG-10 that comes with a razor sharp factory edge. I have found this steel to really hold an edge well and is fairly easy to sharpen. The back of the blade features jimping on the back of the "hole" portion where your thumb goes and the back of the handle has jimping in the plastic as well. My knife has the partially serrated edge and I think this is a useful option. The serrations are really handy when the need arises to cut rope, webbing, etc. The Spyderco hole in the blade is my favorite method of one-hand opening. I think this is a...
Exelent knife, very good price!!!!
These is my 3 endura, i have a lot folders, but the endura is the most funtional,is my every day knife!!!
Utility knife with a true purpose
The Spyderco Endura 4 knife with combination edge is a useful design for daily cutting needs, self defense or a utility knife.

From the factory, I found the action a little too tight for my liking so I loosened the blade by using a Torx screwdriver to make it fit my preference.

The knife is light and the design is unobtrusive. It's compact design, ergonomic grip and smooth action make this a good value. The handle is 5" long and the blade is 3.75" long which is legal in many localities (However, check your local laws).

The blade is razor sharp and so are the serrations. There is little to no flex in the handle. The blade locks securely when open. With proper practice this will be an
Easy one handed operation for closing or opening.

Check this knife out. It's excellent.
