Vietnam-era Steel Pot Set
This neck-breakingly heavy pot brought back many memories of dropping it in the mud of Vietnam's rice paddies. The liner in the helmet, however, was not of the Vietnam era. I never saw one like it. An old timer told me it was more like a Korean-era lining. Will not be seen anyway. I am going to use it as a display piece in our Vietnam Veterans of America souvenirs. Very good.
This item was very good purchase. i loved it and i am wearing it as i type. the only thing i was upset about with it was i didn't receive the Helmet Band/Cateye band that was suppose to come with it. Overall, Great, Loved it. Perfect for Vietnam Recreation Loadouts for Airsoft or Reinactment since mine came with the EDRL Camo (Woodland Camo Vietnam Era) and great shipping to. Now to finish the rest of the loadout :)
Awesome!!!
This is an awesome helmet! It came just as described except for the cat eyes. It weighs about 5 pounds, but it's still amazing. It's kind of big since I'm only 13, but I'll grow into it. I'm pretty sure it's from Vietnam.
