Crimson Trace Lasergrip for Ruger Lcr, Black

Helps a great deal with the snubby
I understand Crimson Trace and Ruger worked together on this item. It is an easy install and it helps ensure a better trigger squeeze when using the double action only Ruger LCR. Since the LCR is a small defensive handgun, you are expected to be able to place accurate shots from nonstandard or awkward positions. The laser really helps get on target fast and stay on target while pulling the long trigger action. It is also great for dry fire practice to help work on maintain a steady trigger usage (be careful to have no ammo in or anywhere near during dry fire. Also, ensure the dry fire target and background is clear. You need to be extra careful. Do not dry fire target something you are not prepared to shoot).

Anyway, snub IRS like the Ruger LCR are tough for many to shoot accurately and the Crimson Trace Laser grip make it a great deal faster and easier. Also, the red dot on the bad guy may help him see the errors of his ways... And maybe no shots will be needed .... Just...
Easy install - easy operation - gives confidence when targeting
The Crimson Trace Lasergrip for Ruger LCR - I installed in a Ruger Lcr 38. Very easy install. The laser control is conveniently located and easy to operate. Gives a nice bright spot. There may be reasons not install a laser - some I have hears are it can make you a target, it can make your target more aggressive, and it can fail at an inopportune time. However, for me, the sense of confidence in the weapon is increased. As we all know these pistols are not the easiest to be accurate with, especially in high stress situations; the laser gives confidence that what is lighted can be shot. I do think Crimson Trace is overcharging and hence minus one star; however I did pay the asking price so obviously I believe it is worth it.
Excellent
After like 6 months, it still works great! This is an everyday carry revolver also. I got an awesome price and a mail in rebate. Once I zeroed it in, the laser is a great accuracy and training tool. Just a word of advice from an expert. This is just my personal opinion of course. It's a great tool but you must learn to shoot without it first.
I bought mine from The Price Pros, through Amazon. All around great transaction. I bought various models for various sidearms also.
