very sturdy
This purse is made well and is very sturdy. The dimensions for the hidden compartment should be listed in the product description. My gun is about 8" long and about 6" height. It fits in there but doesn't go in easy or come out easy. As a purse it is great and for a smaller gun it would be great. Great shoulder strapes so it is comfortable but heavy with my gun.
excellent purse
I ordered this purse and I am competely happy with my purchase. I will most likely re-order in another color. This purse holds all I need and my 9mm pistol in fashion.
too small
The dimensions in the description are not correct, there is no way this purse has more than a 26" drop with the shoulder strap fully extended, nor is it 5 inches across the base (it's 3.5). It is a nice high qualtiy purse and seems well made but it is not big enough for my intended use. I just received it today and will be returning it in it's original packing I didn't even take the stuffing out of it as it was obviously too small from first glance.
