Insight M3 LED Weapon Light

Great light
I was looking for a light that would fit on multiple handguns, including Glock 17, 19; Smith and Wesson M&P; Ed Brown Railed Special Forces 1911; and Kimber Warrior 1911. I was a bit dubious that the advertised universal attachement would work on both the generic rails of the Glock, as well as the Mil-Spec 1913 rails on the S&W and 1911's. I had tried other lights, and while some of them fit perfectly on one or two platform, nothing fit well on all of them (specifically on the M&P, which is advertised as being a Mil-Spec 1913 rail but doesn't exactly match the dimensions of any other 1913 rail I've measured). This light is rock solid on all the platforms. It works just as advertised, and is more than bright enough. It is also very lightweight, which helps when only one hand is available to manipulate the weapon/light.

I'm not giving it a full 5 stars for only one reason. Unfortunately, the M3 doesn't let you focus the light very much (almost imperceptibly).

What a great light! Bought it for my Glock 19 and it fit like it was made for it. I highly recommend.
Excellent light, best mount mechanism I have encountered
I've owned a few other tac lights similar to this one but this is my favorite. I've always been a stream light guy, but their mounting mechanism isn't all that conveinient (screw clamp tha requires a flat head). This light is on and off so much easier which encourages me to actually put it back on my Sig p229 when I get home (with the stream light I got lazy after a while).

Brightness wise, I feel my stream light tlr-1s is a little brighter but not enough to make a difference. I also like how he m3 is plastic so I don't need to worry about it scratching my sit.

This ligh has a matte black finish and has held it's own at the range. Light stays on even during double taps and quick succession volleys. You do need to wipe off the lens afterward but that's with any light.
