Buck 393CM Omni Hunter 12pt Camo Guthook Fixed Blade Knife

Better than expected.
Knife was razor sharpe right out of the box. Easily shaved the hair off my arm. I wear a large glove and the knife handle fit my hand comfortably. Nice size blade, american made, and from a Christian company this is a great knife that should last forever. The sheath is very nice, but made in China and would fit about a 2 inch belt.
Buck Knife
This is a good reasonably priced hunting knife, the gut hook works quite well. Both the blade and the gut hook hold their edge pretty good. 420HC steel is a good choice for making knives, but not the best S30V steel (which is used by benchmade, I think) is alot better, however it costs quite a bit more as well. For my purpose skinning an ocasional deer or bear this knife works great. The Benchmade knives cost about $80, which is out of my price range. Overall a good product from a good company.
Great Knife
I have been hunting and prossesing my own deer for ten years now and this is a good tool to have in the field and on the bench. Very sharp, only set back would be that the grip is made for plastic, not a rubberized compound so when it gets wet it is a little bit slippery.
